Anyone for a nightcap?

Bohemain Highway Pinot Grigio

.....ahhhhgain

(but it's SO good...and welcomed in my bloodstream about now...)

I like chocolate milk......with brandy or whiskey in it :)

right now I will have a bucket of whatever..red, white, chilled, roomtemp, I don't care...just bring me the bucket

Tonight: a Tanqueray gin and tonic followed by a bottle of Kestrel Lady in Red meritage from Washington state to accompany the filets mignon.

Or what about some sekt? The Germans use it for celebration, and I just happen to have some on hand.... :D

Gotta go call my dad. (It's his birthday).

Don't be a stranger, Yanks.

:rose:

Happy birthday to your dad, K. :rose:

The meritage was skanky, so we had some Gnarly Head instead. Gawd, what I wouldn't give for some really gnarly head right about now.

I think that tonight I'll resume my girlie vodka drinks drinking and worry about the expanding tummy line starting ... next week

I can't remember what wines were, but last night started with a half-bottle of Taittinger, followed by both a white and a red; I think they were Italian? (He raided the wine cellar, and oops... some really nice wines opened themselves. By magic! LOL)

Dinner was grilled buffalo rib eye with roast potatoes, summer squash & sweet onion, grilled corn, and take out dessert. I think it's the first time anyone's actually cooked for me...

If I remember to ask, I'll edit in what the wines were. :)

Well it's mid-afternoon here, so not really a nightcap. But I'll go for the hair of the dog about now. Because nothing else is working, and I think I may very well die from this hangover.

I've run out of Baileys and have moved onto a very cheap white zin . (spent all my alcohol budget on Baileys and Pumpkin ale) It gets me feeling warm and tipsy so I'm happy.
