Anyone for a nightcap?

At least I'm in in good company with Cutie Mouse and my cheap pino grigio.

See, that's the awesome thing about Honeywood though - their wine is very inexpensive ($8 - $15 a bottle depending on the store) and they have interesting flavors to cover the rotten grape taste. It's the only wine that I'll drink.

No wine till the house is clean, no wine till the house is clean, no wine till the house is clean....

I'm hibernating from family. It's been a long day of too much food with too much family. Glad to be done with that family gathering for the year! Now I'm just relaxing with a nice glass of Merlot (I perfer a Cab, but it was free)

Btw, I finally reached 100 posts, found your thread and it looked like a great place to stop and say "hi"!

Thanks!

A bottle of Middle Sister "Drama Queen" [Pinot Grigio] - purchased specifically because the name made me laugh. :D

Tonight: a bottle of 2006 Purple Angel from Montes.

Damn I'm envious...I looked for that...not a bottle to be found in the province. Enjoy bringing in the new year with it.

Me...I'm starting early on some Freixenet.

@ cutie mouse....lol most of us run from Drama Queens. Enjoy.

Ha! I've never seen that label. What's the region?

By the way, CM - since you're a fan of the type, I'll mention the specific Prosecco I enjoyed last night. Santa Margherita - dry and delicious.

Thanks JM - I'll look for that one. :)

Middle Sister is a Californian; not bad, really.

One of the nice things about trying dating sorts of things, is my last two (and tonight's) dates have been to local wine bars. I had a really nice flight of Italian Pinot Grigios the other night. :)

We lost the baby. Sorry to be a downer, but since I announced it, I wanted to update. We're ok. Thanks.

Thank you all. I really do hate to post something like this. Anyway, I just want to distract myself here and get through it. So please, let's carry on with the fun drinks, which I myself am looking forward to. :)

I understand.

And I'm drinking hot tea at the moment. A Christmas gift from my niece, from some store called Teavana. The type of tea is some long, unnecessarily complicated name that I can't remember, even though it's only been roughly 5 minutes since I looked at the label. Delicious, though. Very spicy.
