Anyone for a nightcap?

I'm trying a new recipe from one of my favorite blogs -

Hot Rum Cow

8-10 oz hot milk
2oz dark rum
1 drop aromatic bitters
1 drop vanilla
brown sugar to taste
dash of nutmeg

It's like a grown up Vanilla Steamer (warm milk w/ vanilla & sugar)... and strong.

That sounds damn good, CM.

Time for a new bottle

Just finished off the last of my bottle of The Macallan and looking to try something new. I'd like to get a peaty one for a change. Does anyone have a recommendation other than laguvalan (sp.)?

Sorry I missed this earlier. Have you tried Talisker? It's perhaps a tad less so than Lagavullin.

As for me, I'm looking forward to a 2008 Dry Creek Cabernet tonight.

Sorry, no cigars for you tonight, only dark chocolate- every woman's delight.

Green tea that was almost forgotten in my kitchen a bit ago. It is tepid and over steeped... not really awesome at all.

Nobilo Sauvignon Blanc.

Why the hell has this thread been dormant for over a month? Surely not everyone gave up drinking for Lent - and really, how many of us here even bother with lent?
