Anyone from the UK?

Walking. Start with walking and go from there..
I agree, best way to start. Speak to your gp before you start any other exercises. They can advise what you can and cannot do.

From what you have said, I'd only be comfortable suggesting walking until you've spoken to your gp.

The other thing to look at is sleep and diet, these can help boost energy.

Wow OK. 19 stone. Very unfit. Have atrial fibrillation so need to watch that.

Not get tired walking upstairs.
I'm a big lad also. If your AFib is under control just start off easy, something that'll make you slightly breathless, maybe dovthe stairs a couple more times, just for the sake if it.
Try and be consistent and build it into your daily routine, much more likely to keep it up and see the benefits, good luck with it.

It strengthens your bones wards off osteoporosis, and helps create white blood cells in the body. As your muscles build they burn off more calories.

Be careful if you start on weights, and think about how you breathe as you push and pull.
Exactly! It’s way more beneficial than anything cardio that raises your heartbeat. And gentle on your joints if you struggle with walking.

Resistance training at home, just the bands?
Yes, well worth it. If you can afford trx, and 5gbp a month subscription, that would be excellent because they do online classes and have a back catalogue of classes you can do. Youtube also has lots of exercises, but the issue is the ads that come up in the middle of training.

I shall have a look. Thank you. 😊

Thanks all for your input, appreciate it 👍
