Sorry but lorne is very different. It tends to be a courser meat so whilst you can call it a sausage it’s more like a spicy burger.

I think this is where Americans are stumped. The meat is sausage, the shape is a link or a patty, or ground. I use ground sausage in my spaghetti sauce instead of ground beef.
