The people who post political stuff on Lit are easy ignores. Anyone who can't let politics go for 5 minutes to read Lit is not someone I have any desire to interact with here or anywhere else. It's unhealthy to be 24/7 obsessed with politics.

But then there are mod accounts who political nonsense and you cannot ignore them. It's so annoying and it disrupts the escapism of Lit.

That isn't what this thread is about. It asked if there are people here who annoy you to the point of making Lit less likeable. Yes, there are many, and it's about what they post across many boards here. It can be any range of this from the pictures they post to the topics they discuss, to arguing and finger pointing on kink threads to continually bumping threads many years old to constant snide, underhanded remarks. There are a lot of kinks that are borderline gross to others and they make many feel very uncomfortable, thus 'ruining their Lit experience'.


The whole AH board is loaded with chest thumping, my stuff is too good for the ratings and comments I get, why can't we stop negative comments, why don't people like my stories more, how can I get around the rules and post stuff that isn't allowed here and so on.

I’m just annoyed that the moderator has no issues with allowing things she enjoys or whatever, while removing something that she doesn’t like. The video I posted is a comedy bit and, whether she finds it funny or not, it’s hardly a real discussion about rape.

I was only pointing to the irony of how TPH is happy to tell others to ignore things that offend them, while removing comedy bits she deems offensive.

ETA: the video in question is a Louis CK video posted on YouTube. Apparently, Lit has stricter posting rules than YouTube.

Why would I be banned? What have I done to break rules? The first time I posted the video it was removed without so much as an explanation. It’s literally a video that’s on YouTube.

I would actually say that I do quite a good job staying within forum guidelines when posting. Have I ever crossed a line? Of course I have.
