I pushed for that when the new forum was installed. This package (Xenforo) has the Hide Forum ability. It's just a setting in the Admin panel that can be flipped on or off with a simple checkbox to allow members to hide any forums they wish at will. There are several I'd like to hide.

For some reason, those pleas were ignored. They weren't even addressed, yeah or nay.

Well maybe if more voices went along with yours it would get the right attention.

You know who to send that request to. Have them look at this thread. It's a popular opinion to be able to mute certain forums.

You may have been 1 voice in a crowd when you advocated for it. Now you have a lot of people singing that in harmony with you.

Ignore is my favorite feature and I use it liberally. It was suggested long ago that I need to curate my experience here. I've only got 88 people on iggy, I'm sure others have deleted accounts so they aren't on the list any longer!

I said “He deserves it”? The only time I can think of where I may have said anything remotely similar was when pmann and mo were going back and forth and several people were reporting Mo’s posts and not pmann’s. They were either both wrong or neither were, but the reporting was one-sided.

I have helped a lot of people here, some that I don’t particularly care for. “He deserves it” is not something I would say nor does my moderation support that.

I am not the only person who responds to reports here, incidentally. But, I don’t think she would state that in the implied way either.
