I joined in 2006 but didn't stay long. Came back in 2012 for a short time and now that I have some time, I'm back.

People come and go for various reasons. I saw that insider/outsider thread a while back... do people leave because they feel unwelcome? Seems like time is an issue, for sure. I tend to have a lot of time on my hands right now so I can be online a lot. I could be baking, too but... here I am instead.

I've heard the sentiment a couple times in the oral thread that it shouldn't be there, it's trite or just a rehash of internet bj pics... A couple other comments that threads in the past used to be more serious or more bdsm related got me thinking there's some - I was going to say myopic but I don't think that's fair - maybe melancholy? - viewpoint things 'round here just aren't as... important? Connected?

I tend to overanalyze everything so taking a few random comments and making an assumption is certainly risky.

I believe the more voices we have here, the more interesting the threads become. There's only so much glitter I can throw around before every lurker runs away thinking this it the bdsm-lite board.

Soapbox indeed, well said though. I have dabbled here in and off for years too, I feel overwhelmed at times by others experience, or perceived experience. Can be daunting for a lurker!

I don't and readily admit that G and I are BDSM lite and novice. I'm not sure it's something I would want to explore with someone else.

Sex is not a competition, in my opinion. It should be about what is right and good for us. Sweet and tender is no better and no worse than kinky as fuck....it's what is right for those people at that time. Trying for the first time is as special as being an old hand I think.

Thanks, appreciate the thought and am of the same opinion but have arrived at that through age and experience in other life aspects I guess. I share this side with no one in RL because no one I have met thinks in that way, so exploring here is fun and enjoyable because of the views on offer. BDSM lite sounds a good description, occasionally looked down upon.

I would definitely say I am a lurker. I've been an on and off member for probably 3-4 years. I enjoy perusing different threads and posting when I feel I have something to share or to encourage more sharing (picture threads!). I sometimes log onto chat when I am in the mood and I have the time.

I'll give you some advice. When I find a thread that speaks to me, I'll go back to early post and see what the initial feel of the thread was like. You can find some real nice images that way. I'll repost them if I think it worthwhile.

Sorry if you feel ignored-please don't go away! As a newbie to try forum, I just kinda post as I want. If they don't like me doing that then tough tittie! I've bit my tongue all my life so as not to offend and here is one of the few places I can pretend to be anonymous and exercise my 1st amendment rights and not feel judged. Besides, I think I'm pretty funny at times. LOL
