12 degrees higher than normal! :eek: I always considered Oct. 1 to be the day life became great in the valley, but now we seem to be pushing it back later and later...

At least the mornings are glorious, particularly with the full moon setting.
 
It felt very warm still around 10pm last night. Night before felt cooler, and there was a gentle breeze.

I’m sure the nice weather is coming. Eventually. Yeah.
 
so glad to come across the AZ community on LIT. lived there for long time, but now moved over to colder region. Though still AZ will be in my heart.

No snow, or even any rain. But the sudden blast of icy cold wind last Sunday was not at all pleasant or expected. I know all you low landers down in the Valley are glad for the reprieve from the heat but it was just starting to get really nice up here in Lonesome Valley.

I was kind of hoping Autumn would last a little longer than a week. Perhaps, as has happened in the past, it might come back for a few weeks before Winter sets in for the duration.

Well, you’ll just have to think thoughts that make you hot and bothered.. or warm and fuzzy.. or both :)

It’s going to warm up again so don’t fret... should have another few weeks of warmer temps.

It did warm up a bit, as expected. Then it rained the other morning, without notice or warning. Then it got warm again.

Now, it's supposed to get cold again this weekend. I have to accept it; Winter is coming. :mad:


Perhaps I should also mention that I did not fall off the roof while passing out treats on Halloween.

Winter is here, or at least coming, in the Sedona area this weekend...Sat, 70% chance of t-storms Hi 64/Lo 40; Sun, 70% chance of rain, Hi 48/Lo 37; Mon, 40% of snow showers, Hi 46/Lo 30!

So much for nude hiking and working on my allover tan. Yup, summer is all over! LOL Now, how to stay warm? Hmm

Yeah, I saw y’all up north even got some snow huh.... are you sure you wouldn’t like to move back down to the Valley?
