I don't have a profile picture, because I tend not to click on profiles, so I never think of people clicking on mine.

I change my av pretty frequently, sometimes it's a nude me, sometimes it's just something fun and not me when I get tired of seeing me.

I chose my AV as it is from early on in my kink exploring days, so reminds me to be curious and explore. I like that it shows a bit of me, but is happily anonymous. Our Avatar photo is one I used off and on for years on motorcycle forums. I didn't start with it. In fact one of us has changed it several times.
We use US because we don't hide. What we write and what we do is US! Long ago we realized many members of many groups lie. Hard to believe on the internet but it's true.
At our ages we have enough trouble remembering the truth. It's work remembering lies so when we actually meet other members we are what they see.

In reality the avatar is a composite. I love that Iowa Goth farmer scene. Dollie was standing in front of the French Market in New Orleans and I added my face from a motorcycle photo I had. So in truth it is and isn't us............ and that's the truth!

OK, I still don't even know how to put up an avatar. I'm at 100 posts now. I heard there was some kind of minimum post requirement before one can post an avatar? Whether that is true or not, how is it done? I have looked all over my profile and account and have not seen anywhere where I can do this.

I took a picture at work in my shop, which had no lights on because I was hungover, as was my day to day back then. As for my hand, there's nothing terribly profound associated with it, just a simple gesture. Now, whether or not you choose to interpret it as friendly or threatening, is entirely up to you.

I have another that I only used for a little bit, same basic idea, only you can see my face. Or the latest incarnation of it.
