Awkward Time to discover my sub side..

Well, I asked for advice and I got it. Not always what advice I hoped for, but I got it. I am not opposed to what Chris offered, though it's sad that our engagement had to end.

My apologies if I upset anyone or wasted anyone's time.

Don't worry, sweetie!

We are here because we like to waste time in interesting things, and not in stupid ones like wars and so on!

If world leaders waste more time thinking about sex and not so much about wars...

Ah! I'm (as almost all European and Asian people) uncut! :)

Thanks.

I guess that I'll have to get used to it if I'm to ever get involved with European or Asian (or African, as Chris technically is) guys again.

Well it's tried and true, coming from more than one angle take it for what it's worth.

Lots of African men are cutted, becuse they are muslim.

Chris is a white African from a Protestant family in Zimbabwe (well, England these days, actually). But I get your point. And he'll probably kill me for calling it "Zimbabwe", lol. He refers to himself as a Rhodesian.

IMO, this is the sort of info I wouldn't want broad casted on Lit. Then again I don't like real first names being used either.

Too specific? And Chris isn't his real first name. But I can understand why you thought it was.

Ditto.

As for the circ issue:

Rates are falling. The numbers of circ'd babies in the 70s was roughly 91%; by the 80s it had fallen to 83%. A 2003 study showed only 55% of male babies were circ'd. america still routinely circ's babies (although I believe the AAP has toned down their recommendations on thesubject); most European countries find circumcision to be somewhat barbaric (barring religious tradition... and even then there are some who are refusing to have it done).

HEY!

What's wrong with real first names, huh? Evil is a perfectly good first name!

I'm glad to see these figures show that the situation is getting better. At least I think they are. I did a lot of day care and mother's day out. Never in all those diaper changes did I see an intact male baby except my own. I thought it was really sad.

I stand corrected then! LOL!

Actually, I thought that this person's possibly real first name was posted by someone other than himself. I don't care if people want to use their real names but if someone else "outs" them that's not cool. I certainly wouldn't want to do it but that's just me.

Yeah, he has a username here for a reason, and I respect that choice. It's like me not using my last name here. It's the anonymity. :rose:

definately an interesting thread, and good advice given.

Overall, I'm sure that is correct. We'll have to see, because I am not eager to just break it off, if there is a chance of some kind of probationary relationship that would be easier on us while we do counseling and open up about our issues. We've already started and that is progress. I handled it wrong, as did he, in going public, but we can work past this. I think that it's too soon to just date other people or go platonic with each other. There's just too much potential of a relationship working if we give it another shot. But I understand concerns about my possibly forcing myself into a role that isn't natural for me. I don't know if it is, but we can explore that and other issues more honestly and openly now, I hope and trust.

quite welcome...

This is not an easy lifestyle to love, even though I find it very rewarding. I know as a Dominant, I have a shit load of responsibility for my little one's proper care and well being. THo in return, she does her best to make me happy and to serve me.

I love it, and could not envision myself living a 'nilla life.

I understand the concern, but his Lit nick is ChristopherMaxwell so Chris would be a legit shortening... kinda like calling our graceanne "gracie." :D
