I just checked the mod queue (a forum that won't show up unless you're a mod) I checked two pages, back to Dec 14th, and I see no moved poetry forum posts or threads. Mods cannot permanently delete a post/thread. It only gets moved to the mod queue. Ask a mod on another forum to check for you.
By the way, nothing I said embarrassed me, including my drunken rant, which I left up for all to see. So what was deleted, edited, etc? Moved something? Maybe so. But I don't edit other posters' posts, unless there's a link or info that should not be there.

Mayhap they were "un-deleted," but the original deletion was nonetheless quite real.

Mayhap someone of higher rank is leaning, ever so slightly, on the local bureaucracy?

I feel that following the eviction of the current Regime in D.C, they've found a new home here - even Gonzales.

I understand the confusion. The thread was moved from the main forum to the hangout, since it was the type of thread that usually gets moved to the hangout now. Take that any way you wish, but it's not meant as something negative. You probably didn't the see the thread because it could have been near the bottom or wherever. But it is here on the hangout, with all the original posts. It was never deleted or hidden.

Let me explain this one also. It's quite simple. I spoke with the original poster via PM and I moved his original thread (poetry only posts) back to the main forum, with the original thread title. I still had the other posts (non poetry) from that thread. So, they became their own thread, here in the hangout. It's not the best poem I've ever read, to be sure. But it's a poem, of sorts, and it got a critical response, and as such this thread is about poems, writing and critique. Nothing off-topic here at all.

Please, though. Don't explain. I'd rather just wonder. And I'll hope that if, in fact, the OP was interested in gaining critique for the piece, he or she can find it again now that the thread has been moved. I will assume the mods are at least kind enough to let people know via PM when their stuff gets transferred.

I understand what you are saying. I wish my reply to her could have been at the top of the group, then the thread would have shown that I started it. It's just how it works when the posts are being moved. The OP's poetry thread, with the same name, is back on the main forum. I was just trying to remove comments that weren't really about his poem and put them in a separate thread. I think her comment to me and my replies didn't belong on the OP's poetry thread. I did PM him and that's why I moved his thread. It's now a poetry thread, the way it started, before I moved it, which I PMed him about and explained my mistake. The other non-poetry comments are now a thread and I kept the title so it could be found/recognized.

It really wasn't meant to be anything bad at all. It was a simple mistake. I just don't know how many more times I can explain something that wasn't anything but an innocent, yes innocent, move. I just wanted the OP to have his original poetry thread back and I thought that was done. I never imagined this mess would come from it. If bijou wants her first post moved, then I will move it and my name will be at the top and her comments gone. It's a simple enough thing to do. Just ask. I won't touch it without her request. Just let me know and I hope that takes care of this one problem. Maybe not the rest but hopefully this one.
