Uh, thanks, and tempting, but no.

Rhubarb is actually a thing—and not a terrible thing either.

Eggs, bacon, and cheese. Hello, omelet.

I’ve added some tomatoes and peppers, onions and chillies.

Let me introduce you to my friend and occasional hangover remedy, Shakshouka.

I do love my Sunday breakfasts!

I do love my Sunday breakfasts!

I normally include onions and bell peppers, chilies if I have them. Sadly, today I did not have them.

Propane costs and grease splatters so I do microwave 'omelets'.

Dice a small red potato; place in microwave container, top with bacon, cover loosely, nuke for 2 minutes. Push to side of container. In other side, scramble an egg, sprinkle in shredded cheddar and maybe a Laughing Cow wedge, fill with a slurp of egg whites (keep the fat count down), loosely cover, and nuke for 3 minutes. If it's runny, nuke a little longer.

Enjoy.

Another day another MRI.
I forget if it's 3 or 5 or more this past year. They blur together, along with dozens of EKGs, several cardiac procedures and retinal surgeries, many blood panels, and other stuff I don't care to remember.

I remember what they did to me yesterday. Oy.

In the bright world of the future we'll all be infested with nanobots reporting to AIs constantly monitoring our bodily functions and keeping us tuned-up with custom meds and applied electric shocks. Hulking external machinery will disappear. You'll be MRI'd from the inside out every minute or so. Enjoy.
