Blurt Thread III - Emporium of Unexpected Exclamations & Revelations

Loaded with butter and salt?

Ah. An old fashioned girl, I see.

I don't think I am very good at praying, but at least I am getting in the practice.

Yeah, when I was a kid who didn't know any better, I made the mistake of praying for three things all the time; strength, wisdom, and patience.

I just didn't realize at the time that the only way to get stronger is to load on as much as you can carry and then add a little more.

I didn't understand that the first step in gaining wisdom is to figure out you don't know the answer. When I get to the second step, I'll be sure to share.

As for patience, hell, I'm still waiting for it.

In the words of a wise man (ok it was just Damien Rice) “it’s not hard to grow, when you know that you just don’t know.”

I saw him in concert at a small venue in Phila many moons ago. He left me absolutely breathless.

Two more days - we can do this!

I made it today without needing bail money—this week is nearly a done deal! *fist bump*

Just keep your head down and you should make it with tail feathers intact.

Ah, Thanksgiving. The only holiday where we can kill, cook, and eat the mascot.

Theorhetically, you could do that for Easter too, and bunny, lamb, duck and chicken are all pretty damn tasty.

I'll skip the turducken (chicken stuffed in a duck stuffed in a turkey). But, I'll take a double helping of the capiookie (cookie baked in a pie baked in a cake). :D

^^^^^^^^
:D :D :D

Trigger, tell your Aunty she doesn’t have to eat it. I’m not allowed to show up to family gatherings without cream puffs since I’m the only one who makes them. They will send me home. Bastards.

You may be onto something there.

The worst thing I’ve ever eaten was dog jerky. ( I didn’t know it was dog calm your farm)
The second worst thing I have ever eaten is pumpkin pie. (I have no excuse I totally knew it was pumpkin pie).

That shit is the worst.

I temper every post you make about food, with how you like your steak cooked (*shudders*).

If it meant cooking the steak properly I’d even go full denim.

Ralph Lauren could be of some assistance.

Not so much with cooking the steaks, but ensuring the Lustrous One has something blue, and the dampy-panties something fierce, before the two of you embark, honeymoon bound, in the horse-drawn coach.

Emerson. I am making progress. I can now eat it medium-well if the lights are low. 😂. So by the time I’m dead I should have progressed to medium.

I have witnessed years fall off some folks, and discovered shadowy, sultry beauty where beauty had no business being, and would've never been found if sought under a mid-day sun...

It is truly amazing, the wondrous power of dimmer lighting.

That is progress though. There could be hope for this union yet.
