Yeah but you want to know something? I've known three different tattoo artists and they all say that. Not only that but they all have huge egos and think that they are the best.LOL It's just the way they are.

well he was scared of breaking me cause I'm fragile.. I think thats stupid. I mean its skin. You cant break me that way.

Indeed the feel of metal in the skin (or further) is the turn on. Even the feel of the needle is amazing. I have jewellery with weight which adds to the experence.

Anybody else like the feel of weight that serious steel imparts?

concerning cartalage... 3 or 4 years by now...

concerning tattoo artists... mine was rather humblue.. he never denied his work was good but he didn't boast.. he did the job.. did it well and was done... i finally got a decent pic of my tat...

final thought... i just recently got involved deeply in bmezine.com let me say i've seen things that have made me cring and nauscious.. and i almost want to try them... unfortunatelly my pain tolerance says i never will...

Self Piercings

I was wondering if anyone has done any of their own piercings.

I have been researching getting my clit hood pierced, and I think I want to do it myself. I know the risks involved but its something I prefer to do on my own. Plus I dont think too many piercing places around here do genital piercing.

There is just something about getting pierced that really turns me on. I love the feeling of the needle going in my body and the weight of the jewlery.

I have! and umm when I Was 10 I got the idea that piercing my friend's ear was a cool thing to do.
I've done 3 of my lobe peircings.. I wouldnt trsut myself doing any of the others too dangerous.

Don't... that's the only advice i can give you on that... Due to the angle, the area you're doing it in, and all the possile risks and misshaps, it's not worth it to risk it.
If a shop does tattoos and pircings, i'm fairly sure they'll do a hood piercing. I got mine in a tiny town in New friggin nowhere Hampshire.
Think of how valuable that part of your ody is... how close to the most sensitive organ in any human being's body you're sticking a sharp object... and think of the odd angle you'd have to manuver your arms, If you're going to pierce any part ofyour own body stick to something simple like lobes...
Even the girl who pierced my hood said she she had it done she didn't do it herself.

See, I just don't trust myself enough to pierce my own skin.LOL I saw some chick at college that tried doing that and it turned out rather poorly.

funny the piercings I did myself I rarely have had trouble with.. and the one I had done professionally well I had t remove it. Althought the one I did to my friend I did too close to the edge. I really dont know where I got the idea that it would be cool to stick a needle in a friends ear when I was 10 lol

my first and last piercing was when I was nine - my earlobes. I'm the product of the hippy 60s and my father put a half of a potato behind my ear, lots of ice to numb and stuck a needle with embroidery thread through, tied it, peroxide and whala. *smiles* no problems. Interestingly enough, I hardly ever wear earings now.

I have a question regarding tattoos... I have a very conservative professional job, so you won't see me going all out. That being said, I'm interested in something on the top or bottom of my foot, or something very very very light around my ankle. Have you ever heard of the bottom of the foot?

almost everything can be tattooed. even men's penises.
I've seen people with the mouth.. inside.. there lip tattooed. one person had a smily face.
I dont recommend gettin under your foot tattooed I would think it would hurt pretty bad. I'd more go for something on my hip.

i've heard tatoos on the foot are painful, but i don't know for sure.

As far as self piercing, i would only suggest doing the ears on your own. i have 8 ear piercings, all done by myself, but i would never do anything else on my own. however, about 2 years ago my husband and i were at a friends house and we were all drinking and two of the guys there decided they wanted their nipples pierced, and i gladly volenteered to do the piercing.. heeheeh... one took them out a few weeks later, but the other one still has his in. Something i don't recommend doing either though... but i must say, it was a fun time.
