I got conned into the Dolphins because Marino was the man when NFL first arrived on British TV in the 80s.
He promptly retired, but I had made my choice...

I love Marino. Guy had a cannon. Not the most mobile guy ever. I’m pretty sure he had less than 100 rushing yards for his whole career. Qb’s these days do that in a game.

Actually it's the fact that we've been tortured by the Dolphins nearly forever, and they can still hold it over us. Also remember that prior ownership was so inept that they lost money on the Michael Jackson tour at the hieght of his popularity.

We used to have seriously incompetent ownership (as in JJ would have been a huge upgrade), so I feel your pain. Particularly since football is a lot more serious where you are. Here Hockey is the religion.
