I wonder how much interaction there is between hotel workers and travelers? Unfortunately my interaction has been limited to just check in or signing for room service, nothing more.

When I was in college I worked for a hotel doing turn down service. Easiest job I ever had. I can remember 2 times walking in on couples getting their business on but they were so busy they never noticed me as I quickly backed out of the room.

I think that depends on individual personalities. I frequent the same hotel multiple times a month and I clicked right away with one worker and none of the others. If I take my work to the lobby or downstairs for a change of scenery, we typically strike up conversation and hang out for a bit each visit.

I don't travel that much anymore and when I do, I don't always stay in the same hotel so I don't have much opportunity where I would see the same person week in and week out. Also, there is usually a lot of turnover in hotel staff so when I do return to the same hotel when I am in Atlanta I rarely see the same people.

I've had this experience as well. There has never been anything beyond friendly conversation and maybe a little flirting, but it is nice to have those connections when the hotel is your "home away from home" for so long.

That is funny. At first I don't mind hearing sex through the wall of the hotel room but then frustration can set in because I want to participate as well. lol. Always curious what they look like and have on occasion been leaving the same time in the morning so catch a view on the elevator ride down.
