I’ll be in Noblesville Indiana for a concert Friday night…On the road this week…wish I could take my wife with me and chat with some folks in the bar!
There the 20th through the 22nd or 23rd depending. And yep, hot here in TX too.Okc for the week. It’s freaking hot.
100 percent.It’s an interesting hypothesis.
I think the experience is different for men vs women. It’s going to sound cocky but by all means I don’t mean it to, however I can usually always guarantee an invite to a gentlemens room if I’m at the hotel bar. It happens 99% of the time I choose to engage in small talk with another business traveler. I decline for reasons other than safety, sanity, etc., haha, unfortunately, but you get the point.
Would I make that move on a random guy? Most likely not.
It’s the same experience at local bars or restaurants around the area when dining alone but definitely not as frequent. Hotel bars are almost always guaranteed.
Haha, yep, I’m sure that was an experience. Hotel bars, though, solid.100 percent.
Hotel bars are perfect for meeting, vetting and coming to comfortable decisions between travelers. The only better situation was when I was a lifeguard at Myrtle Beach, but that's another story.
Yeah Room 301 is bad luck lolHaha, yep, I’m sure that was an experience. Hotel bars, though, solid.
Last week a guy was eavesdropping on a conversation of mine at the bar. I have this thing where I don’t like people to buy me drinks, the bartender was “covering” my beers, so we bantered back and forth quite a bit. Ultimately I won, so there’s that. I go to head upstairs and this guy was quickly behind me. Made small talk, then let out a deep sigh and said his room number under his breath. When he got out to leave, I said “Goodnight Mr. 301” and he was quick to pause and extend the invite. Never fails, haha.
Oh, really? What’s the story? HahaYeah Room 301 is bad luck lol
Okc. Travel Oklahoma Kansas parts of Texas.Almost the same time, but not quite. I am Tulsa next week.
Still waiting to hear the story behind this???Yeah Room 301 is bad luck lol
