Business Travelers Unite

Going to be traveling in November from New York to Kansas with stops along the way. Love to find a female to make stops more enjoyable. I know it’s a ways away put I never had luck finding someone at last min.

Longtime lurker but figured I'd make my first post here. 35mwm, fit and in good shape traveling to DC for a week the week of June 8th. Wouldn't mind chatting with a lady before then and possibly meeting up for a drink.

Late April and May has included trips to Tampa, SoCal , Atlanta, and currently Aruba (non business), Dallas in two weeks followed by Oregon, Chicago and Dallas again. Looks like Covid is officially over for me. Hope everyone else that travels is able to get back on the road... if only the airlines would stop getting cancellations (serves me right for flying American instead of Delta or United)

Cleveland, Columbus, Austin, and Dallas coming up in June. Houston and maybe DC coming up in July.

Unfortunately today I am only traveling from the bed to my desk, about 30 feet with a stop in the kitchen for coffee.

I've been absolutely astonished at how quickly business travel has rebounded for me since February of this year (almost exactly three years since my last pre-Pandemic trip to DFW). I just returned to Atlanta, with Boston before that. In the next month I'll be in Chicago twice and NYC in July. Based near DC when I'm not enroute elsewhere.

My hypothesis is that travel-related liaisons are like Communism: they sound better in theory than in practice. With a reasonably elevated standard for safety and sanity, the chance of successfully identifying mutual proximity and availability with someone likewise in transit seems extremely low. and I have a feeling that locals are wisely suspicious about the safety and sanity of travelers who might seek them out when they are temporarily local to them.

I'd be more than happy to be proven wrong, of course.

I almost met one Lit user who traveled to my area but she was the one that decided not too for some reason even though she actually did come into the area for work. I was looking forward to getting a drink with her and being able to actually have a real life conversation. When I use to travel and craigslist was around, I actually met several women local to where I was traveling over the years. You talk for a while, maybe talk on the phone or skype so you can actually see that the person is really who they say they are. Craigslist was a whole lot better at meeting local people when traveling than Lit for some reason.

Hi. I am traveling to KC for a conference for a week beginning June 1. Anyone able to give me 'conference fun' advice? I'm 53, m, excellent shape, shy-sort of, kind of nerdy, and super-authentic. Open to anything. Thanks in advance.
