No. I say I'm from the Bay Area-this definition, while not completely accurate, works for most folks. If we are being literal I need to know as I will choose to not answer.

Quite the slippery slope as Nor Cal/So Cal can be hotly debated. Similarly, you ask SoCal folks about the Valley and they think of San Fernando Valley whereas most assume the Central Valley. I am in the Central Coast, which I will define by Santa Barbara to Santa Cruz.
