I know I don't come here much and post......but I do come in here to read people's post......There are two very special persons that have come to mean alot to me this past year:

Miss Taken......Thank you for being there for me, to answer my question, and for being the friend you are. Many of us on other boards respect you very much, you mean alot to us.

Artful......My dearest friend, thank you for being in my life and having a part of my heart......You are a very wise friend......I have enjoyed knowing you for the past year......and in the future years to come.


For everyone else:

Have a very Merry Christmas......please be safe this holiday......

Thinking back over this past year and all the changes that have come about here at Lit, makes me a little sad that some people chose to leave and never return.

But to those of us who stayed around and endured, I lift my glass and say "Thanks! Thanks for sticking it out! Thanks for being here! and Thanks for being able to roll with the punches!"

I thought I would get this back on track by acknowledging a few people here. Of course, the list is long, but here goes a few:

Ebonyfire - Who would have thought that I would learn the most here from a Domme, but that's the truth. Probably the most important lesson that she has helped me to realize is that you define BDSM for yourself, and screw everyone else (well, not literally)!

PBW - Always good for a few laughs or a thoughtful question that gets me thinking. And as far as flirting goes, he's the BDSM board's male version of Rubyfruit, and I mean that in the best of ways.

Pure - A relative newcomer who was a pain in the ass at the beginning, but is a deep thinker and either posts on topic or takes the topic in a new and interesting direction. I'm gald I was able to stop being defensive and think about what you were saying.

MissTaken - A great thread starter and the BDSM'er with the biggest heart. Always sees the good in people and gives them the benefit of the doubt. She has shared her own journey in BDSM with an honesty and genorisity.

NemoAlia - Dedicated and tireless in maintaining our Library, and another poster who always adds to our discussions with both thoughtfulness and her experiences!

ADR.... i enjoy reading your posts. You bring up a lot of thought provoking ideas, things that i don't ever think about, but should.

Des.... What can i say about you? There are way too many things that i love about you. You are a sweet, good friend. Thanks!

Snooze... You make me laugh. Plain and simple. Whenever i'm feeling down, i just look at your thread in the cafe, and it brings a smile to my face!!!

There are others that i want to include, but i think i'll let others get in on this too!!!

I want to thank each and every one of you who takes the time to share your experiences, thoughts, and questions here at Lit. You've taught me, made me mad, made me laugh, made me think and challenged me to expand my limits. I value each of you more than you know. Some of my special friends are lurkers now. I know you're there and that at least for now, you choose not to post. You should know that when you did post, you touched other lives in a special way. I hope that in the future, you'll choose to post here again.

And most importantly, I want to publicly thank Snooze. I'm honored to belong to you. You have such special gifts of humor, compassion, strength and insight that you share with those who are lucky enough to be around you. You make my world a better place.

I was introduced to this board about 3 years ago and would come in to read posts and get very good advise and information. Everyone on the board has been helpful, insightful and most importantly non-judgemental. Thank you all for taking the time to post and help so many people with your words of wisdom and by sharing your experiences.

I can't honestly name just a few people, because everyone has been so great here.

I would like to give a special thanks to Miss T for all her effort in moderating this board and making all who come here feel so welcome.
