Here's a synopsis of my chapter:

Mircalla visits the ruined castle by herself, falls asleep and dreams of Elizabeth Báthory. When she wakes Adamir and Anna arrive to pick her up and take her to the hotel. Anna warns Mircalla to stay in character at all times, and the film crew and hotel staff have been instructed to treat her as the Countess. Anna's creepy. Mircalla has more dreams or visions, but I'll leave it unclear whether they're actual visions or brought on by stress and substance abuse.

I'm writing her to create a weird vibe on set. She'll be acting like Elizabeth Báthory, but whether that's just an act or real possession by a spirit... That's for Lucy and Mina to find out, I suppose.

We should watch the numbering, then. If Alina is writing a follow-up to my chapter, it would be Chapter 02, and Still's would become 3. Given everything, should we re-number the chapters anyway and Make the prologue 01 rather than 00?

My chapter is set before shooting starts, with the crew just settling into the hotel. If Lucy and Mina don't arrive until later, logically that would be Chapter 3, with mine still Chapter 2.

I've just finished my first draft. A little under 7.3k words.

I've replaced my earlier version with my new chapter. I'm pretty happy with it, although I haven't proofed it yet. Suggestions for continuity or compatibility are welcome, but I don't think I'll be changing much.

I've laid the groundwork for bad things to happen to Mircalla. I don't see her being a POV character beyond this, or at least not in close 3P. But hopefully readers will empathise with her as she goes off the rails.

Thanks for the comments! I agree with them all, except the food. It's not Mircalla ordering the food, it's Anna. Mircalla uses the pills to quell her appetite. They're probably not very good for her.

Any ideas on timing the publication, by the way? Originally we mentioned spacing the chapters about a month apart. I could do that, but it might also be a good idea to tie in with the Halloween mood. An "erotic horror" tag could attract more views this week.
