Challenge .... Is it Erotic? Or is it Porn?

The process of trying to categorize all of the submissions as either being porn or erotic is as challenging as trying to figure out who wrote what.

Some of the poems aren't erotic or porn to me. There are very nice submissions that I enjoyed reading, but they don't hit that sweet spot that would put them in either category. It's fun trying to guess the author's intention, too.

I'm really looking forward to seeing more guesses and the big reveal.

I am looking forward to it as well. I think this is the most popular challenge we've ever done here on the pobo (kudos to my naughty pal UYS!). I don't get though why anyone would want to pick a "best" poem as that was never the purpose of the challenge. Even trying to categorize the poems as porn or erotica seems difficult to me. With the exception of a few obvious cases, it seems pretty subjective. I imagine we all define the terms somewhat differently. I have to say though that I am once again amazed at how much talent exists here on our little tucked away forum. I'm probably biased but I believe this is one of the most helpful and least judgmental places to write on the web!

Annie, I second (or is it third?) the kudos. Many thanks for cumming up with a great challenge and keeping it all together.

I agree with Angeline that we should neither try to pick the best (or pluperfectest?) poem and that categorization as erotic or porn is in the mind (or lower) of the reader.

I look forward to the reveal tomorrow and will post the names of my submissions at that time.
