Chaos in the Kitchen - what to eat and drink

And you're sharing the recipe as is the intention here, right? 😍
I'm happy to! I will confess though that I cheat with my soup purees and use a soup cooking blender that heats and purees at once.

Ingredients are:

2.5 cups (1 medium zucchini), chopped into 3/4 inch pieces
1/2 onion, chopped
1/2 celery chopped into 3/4 inch pieces (I just chopped 2 medium size stalks)
3 cups vegetable broth
1 tsp oregano

I tried making beer a few years ago. It tasted okay but was flat, no carbonation at all. Can’t remember how much the kit and space at the you-brew cost but it was the most expensive case of beer I ever had.

I am looking for a good authentic shrimp etoufee or shrimp creole recipe to cook this week for dinner . Anybody got any suggestions?

I am goin to store tomorrow to get all the stuff to make shrimp creole or etouffee . I have been watching NCIS New Orleans and Agent Pride was cooking Shrimp creole on one of the episodes I watched last night . I am now craving shrimp creole or etouffee lol

But I love shrimp and grits . It’s actually the only way I enjoy grits .

If any of you want to send me the recipe I will make these into cards. I tagged anyon tht had a recipe that looked like theirs and not one from a website-I am trying to be mindful of copywrite issues(if there could be any) or that had a photo but no recipe :)

I was just thinking the same last night! Making a big pot of cream of chicken and wild rice might be on the weekend agenda.

My go to is kielbasa and kale, but for Saturday I’m thinking either Cuban black bean or a hearty chicken with dumplings.

Here’s a chowder I did for a competition last month. Came in 4th place. I neglected to include bacon, which would have elevated me into the top three, I believe View attachment 2292909

I made my usual holiday chili last weekend. I forgot I didn't have any of the chili mix I prefer, so I rigged up a spice blend quickly: Southwestern Dust, Mexican seasoning, and a mildly hot Ethiopian spice blend I had on hand. Plus the usual tablespoon of salt. Turned out very well. I was surprised. :)

Breakfast egg cheese muffins.

@sallysparrow23 did you tweak the recipes at all or make them straight as described? I want to make sure I record them appropriately.
This was far too delicious not to share, and was my first attempt at making a cheesecake.

Baklava cheesecake 😋🤤
Edited to add the recipe.
