You could say that they stop and wait or start walking backwards so as to not seem so eager to be caught.

Expectations

I have found that if you have expectations about being pursued, you set yourself up to be disappointed and/or disillusioned. I have no expections about any of the men who apply to be submissives to me. That also applies to vanillas or anyone in chase mode. I have my criteria for what I want, and if a man or sub meets it it is ok, if he does not it is ok also. I find that it is less stressful that way. I find I am more often surprised not disappointed.
