I'm guessing you went there for the same reason I did: to attend an institute of higher learning. Am I right?
You are correct, although I can pretty well guess it isn't the same institute.

I'm not a professional, I don't even own a DSLR. I just do it for fun with a point and shoot camera and sometimes I take my tripod with me; and I'm not very good at it. I haven't really taken a variety of pictures yet, but people is always fun, objects too, haven't tried the zoo yet but I take a bunch of my dog hehe, but so far I have enjoyed flowers/plants. I've been thinking of going back to a conservatory.
Are you a photographer or is it something that interests you?
I take photos occasionally for fun, nothing that I'd go out and spend money on extra equipment for. I do admire those who can take good photos though. It's a definite art form.![]()
Wish I could be satisfied with a point and shoot but I've spent over a grand on my current equipment and I cant stop the urge to look for new lenses. They werent kidding when they said photography was an expensive hobby.I take photos occasionally for fun, nothing that I'd go out and spend money on extra equipment for. That's really cool! I'm the same way. What do you like to shoot? I have some random pictures too from just walking around different places. I have a few friends that are professional or almost professional photographers and I just sit and view their pictures online.
I've been wanting to take a photo class just to learn how to use my camera better in order to improve my picture taking. Have you taken one of those classes before?
my camera, it was a gift a couple years ago and works very well.Wish I could be satisfied with a point and shoot but I've spent over a grand on my current equipment and I cant stop the urge to look for new lenses. They werent kidding when they said photography was an expensive hobby.

My favorite subject is, of course, my son. I take pictures at all of his soccer games and share with the team. Imy camera, it was a gift a couple years ago and works very well.

I so need a personal photographer.
aw that's really cool! I got my camera by asking for money for my bday and I still had to add my own money to it about 2.5 years ago. I think it takes better pictures than my middle sisters few months old camera.
My dog is my furkid, so I tend to have a ton of pictures of him. Actually, I recently got a picture frame and I was browsing my dog pictures to put in. lol![]()
I think the best ones came out about two years ago. The first ones were crap, manufacturers still learning development and learning the market. Now they're just trying to sell. Period.
~Laughs~ At least find a photo of you WITH the furkid!
I agree with you there! I need one too.
How is your weekend HMIPU?
I need to work on that, but with keeping everything from the Litogether I have a bit of a mess.So far so good.
I'm actually make fabulous progress on my inbox. I'm so excited LOL.
Went to see Avatar yesterday. That was fun.
Just a quiet day so far... getting ready to watch Daytona 500 now.
I guess I lucked out!
I only have a handful of pictures of my dog and I together since I'm the one usually taking his pictures.

How was Avatar? It didn't strike me as a movie I'd be interested in, but I haven't really seen the trailers.
the inbox is a perpetual battle for me... sighs...
Avatar was pretty good... good story ... great visuals... I didn't love it as crazy as some people, but it was worth seeing once on the big screen.
Sounds like you need a photographer of your own!

Just curious if anyone has ever played DIRTY BINGO. Its basicaly bingo with lots of sexual references and prizes from the local sex toy shop. Have not been there in a while so I am not sure where they are doing it right now. But its a lot of fun. Would anyone be up for going?
