Always on my face after cleansing. It’s one of the few things I never, ever skip.

What kind of soap do you use?

I only use “soap” on my face. Cetaphil, Murad, and sometimes Bioderma.

On my body, L’Occitane Amande shower oil. It’s less harsh and stripping than soap and leaves my skin very moisturized and smelling faintly of almonds.

What kind of hair products do you use?

Olaplex and Keracolor which are designed for color treated hair. Ion as well.

Describe your skin care process?

Cleanse, serums (eye, hyaluronic acid, vitamin C), moisturize - morning and evening. Sunblock year round during the day if I’m leaving the house. I don’t wear much makeup and usually work from home, so I often skip the morning routine. Then I do the evening routine as part of my shower.

I’ve only had to use lube for anal on occasion. I usually provide enough natural lubrication that it can be used for any sexual activity. No prep. Shower afterward.

No, I think I used to do almost nothing. Meaning I washed it in the shower and then moisturized. The end.

Now that I’m getting older I consciously researched, tested, and adopted a more nuanced skin care plan to keep my skin looking as good as possible. It’s still pretty simple though.

Mixed bag. I like subtle, non floral scents. I don’t want strong perfumes or natural stink. Hence my preference for L’Occitane Amande.

I’m a big fan of Lume, particularly the tangerine and vanilla scents. It’s been a great product for me in that it’s fantastic at preventing any natural stink plus has a light and pleasant scent. Best part is no aluminum nor any skin irritation like I had with most natural deodorants I tried.

If your skin isn’t wet when you apply hyaluronic acid, you’re using it incorrectly and may make your skin appear drier.

Also, stop shampooing your hair and using soap on your skin so much. It’s stripping and drying and can cause your body to overcompensate.

Yes. Daily. With scented coconut nut oil blends I get in Hawaii.

The Smoother Glycolic Acid Body Wash and a few different cleansers on my face. Right now it is one from Benefit.

I have two sets I alternate through with. Basically I have a shampoo and conditioner for in the shower then a leave in conditioner or curl cream then sometimes mouse and always hair oil.

I wash and tone my face morning and night.
Then I use a vitamin c serum, eye cream, a face cream and a sunscreen that goes on white(spf 50) and then changes color to match your skin tone. At night instead of the sunscreen I add some kind of serum
For years I used soap and water and coconut oil if I felt dry. At 50 I decided to start something new.

It is not usually thought out ahead of time so I guess it is if I feel up for it (this would include not needing to poop and having showered recently) after either the bidet or a shower. Clean up has only ever been an issue of cum so it hasn't seemed bad…

Exfoliation is super key to soft skin. You can make your own sugar scrub with sugar, an oil of your choice-try combining coconut and almond oils and then add a scent that you like. Sugar are relatively gentle but use them after shaving and on your body not your face. Pat dry afterward and your skin will be soft and moisturized.

I find sugar to be gentler and it won’t burn your skin like salt can sometimes. I do salt scrubs on my feet.
