I love these, cb!

The one thing always on my wall, no matter where I live, is a quote I first heard as a teenager.

"It's not about how many times you fall, but how many times you rise up."

The other one I keep up is "I love water" -- my chiropractor made me tell myself this each time I had a glass.

Thanks bfg.

everyone passed over my long link post... I guess I should not have bothered with that. lol. Next time I will just post images.

Putting this front and center!

Thank you for putting this together! In just the past few minutes, I've looked at some of these links...wow! There's a ton of good ideas and help here and I'll be going back to look through again.

Just real quick... the anxiety link will be helpful to some. I use these techniques with E when we're talking and something triggers an attack. It's pretty frightening for us both, as I was stuck listening and at a loss how to help. But, now, I can talk him through with a gentle voice and slowly breathing with him until he's calm.

I hope there's others who will something in your list. I can't wait to try that sand app!

Thank you, again, cb. You're an amazing friend!

Thanks Smooth.

It was a very useful post, Cascadia. I don't post in here for clear reasons, but I personally was immensely grateful for it.
Bless.

Not just incredibly useful, but such a dedicated labour of love. Wow!

Cas, I’ve used your list a few times this week. It does help, but I’m still struggling 😔

I miss him so very much and there have been big things happening in my life the last few weeks and he’s not here to share it with or to encourage me. It really really sucks.

Even hubs has noticed something up with me, I’ve been whimpering in my sleep, restless, and hugging my puppy (stuffie) so tightly that his stuffing is all out of sorts

Not sure what to do at this point

Oh SNG.. I am so sorry you are having such a bad time.
I refuse to retreat into platitudes.
Reach out. Keep moving forward. If one resource doesn't work, try another.
Journal. Talk. Breathe.

:rose:

BFG & Cas you are both amazing I amm so happy to have 'met' both of you :):)

What do you like most about being sub/little/pyl?

One of the things I like most is feeling safe and cared for.

I'm going to be physically alone for the next 6 weeks, but I'm not alone. Between E and all my friends, I am well loved and cared for.

Now, I am going to adult for a few hours and then be little all afternoon. I wish there was a little event this weekend. I need to check fetlife!!!

I’m still formulating a complete answer for you on this, but one thing I like most about being a sub/little is the feeling of bliss found in making Him happy. When He says I did a good job at something, or really enjoyed something I did, or if He says the special words (that I am His Good Girl), I am so content in that moment and the ones that follow. I don’t get that kind of fulfillment from anything or anyone else.

Yes! That is perfect, isn't it? When he calls at my bedtime (as he wakes) and asks if I'm in bed and then says "Oh, you ARE a good girl." --- nothing else in the world matters right then.
