Welp, if a large group of foreign individuals is "welcomed" into the U.S., employed in local / state businesses, and experiencing the same challenges & hardships as the rest of the community, one might expect that they should have a voice…
Unless of course "some people" view those large groups of foreign individuals as imported slave labor who should have no say in things that directly affect their lives and the lives of their families / children…

I live in Washington state that is also fighting the DOJ getting this information. There is NO REASON why the fed gov needs that information on every citizen.
