Election Day News Links and Coverage

Is this going to be another "Red Mirage" election with a "Blue Shift," or is something else at work?

Florida called for Trump as of half an hour ago
Sounds good, but it's far from over. The Right really needs to not get carried away with screaming victory until it's actually over.

Don't forget how things looked for Hillary in 2016 and the massive flip that happened there, or the magical things that happened during the 2020 election.

I want nothing more than a total Trump victory with both the EC and popular vote, but I am not celebrating till that's in the bank.

538 disagrees.
All based on partial counts and projections either way. I'm going to stay consistent and go with the Red State counts and see how they change.

If you're following 538, post theirs. It'd be useful to know where they contradict each other

Decision Desk called Illinois for Harris. About as surprising as Florida being called for Trump.

I've been surfing around, and my overall impression is that the coverage has been somewhat . . . cautious. Commentators aren't going out on a limb. Still seems like it's very much up in the air. Waiting for Pennsylvania and Georgia. If both go for Trump it's going to be difficult for Harris, but it's way too early to make predictions about Pennsylvania.

TX is called for Trump…but Cruz was down in his Senate race last I checked. Very close though.

Just updated…Cruz up now, but razor thin…
