Embarras de Richesse

The Energizer Bunny

a/k/a DG Hear, MFG, is at it again. In his latest effort, still in progress, he wants to take us on a sea cruise, echoing Frankie Ford's 1960 hit song of that name. "Ooee, ooee baby" is right; but not everything is as it seems.

Speaking of music, eagerly awaiting more of SA Penn Lady's "Rhythm and the Blue Line".

RedHairedandFriendly has a wonderfully hot Romance in "When Sparks Fly". Best fuck across a car hood since the end of Sir_Nathan's "Culture Shock". And no, I'm giving nothing away, because after the first few paragraphs you know what's going to happen, and Red does a great job telling us, in red-hot detail.

DG Hear, MFG, has his Sea Cruise ready to launch.

I'm pleased to announce that LettersfromTatyana is readying the next (and final?) chapter of "Seven Years After the Motel". Perfectionist that Tat is, she has engaged no fewer than four (count 'em, four) editors and beta readers to review her work. My only concern is that the refs may call a bench minor--too many players on the ice. But I trust Tat's good judgment.

Speaking of players on the ice, where was Cornell Saturday night in that fiasco against Boston University? I should post this on my "Disappointments" thread.

LettersfromTatyana concludes the Seven Years' War with a bang (pun definitely intended). Really fine work by a fine writer.

And RejectReality has a strong entry in "Up the Chimney", a real come-from-behind (pun definitely intended) entry into the Winter Holiday contest.

SilkStockingsLover has posted "Best Wife Ever--The Twelve Days of Sexmass", and the title says it all. By the time it's over, someone needs a few days off. But not Silk--she has another Winter Holiday story in the works. Stand by, fans; I'll be copy editing it as fast as I can (and RL lets me) to get it on board.

"Summer Rain" is a stormer by Storm62; this is a truly romantic Romance. Storm is England's answer to DG Hear, MFG; Storm is England's Master of Feel-Good. And of course, as the old play that ran forever in the West End said, "No Sex, Please--We're British".

Just wrapped up copy editing SilkStockingsLover's latest. Stand by to stroke, this one's in the classic SilkStockingsLover mode.

LettersfromTatyana is already working on a new entry, but not for Winter Holidays. Eagerly waiting.

Staciliv's "Slave Auction", which posted 11/29, is a good hot read on this well-worn theme, but Staciliv keeps the action going till the hammer comes down.

Just copy edited Ch 4 of "Rhythm and the Blue Line" for SA Penn Lady. Classic Penn; keeping the sex under wraps, and the fans waiting, until...

LunaEroticaMystica, NT, has her Winter Holiday contest entry back, copy edited. Sensitive as always. Her fans will love this.

And as we head into the far turn, and the competitors reach the top of the stretch, let's see if the leaders can hold off the competition. Hoping for a red-hot finish.

LynnGKS has a really funny story in the too-often-neglected Humor and Satire genre, "Bedroom Conversations". Is there a doctor in the house? Minor mechanical flaws, but a truly funny storyteller lets me ignore the flaws.

Spykke's "A Christmas Angel" takes two well-worn themes and joins them with skill and economy. No wasted words, but sweetness and hurt. A vignette well done.

A Late Entry

Handicappers of the Winter Holidays Contest should note that LunaEroticaMystica, NT, a placer in this year's Nude Day competition and the high scorer in the recent Halloween (although ineligible for a place in the Halloween based on the previous place), has an entry ready to post for the Winter Holidays. It's got LEMNT's magic and her sensitive hand on the reins, but, as we aficionados of the Sport of Kings say, has the jockey left too much for the horse to do? Well, finding out the answer is what makes Lit contests and horse races.

Hey, give the rest of us a turn. ;)

Kidding. Good luck to all.

Penn, you know I wish only the best for all contestants. I've praised the work of many of you, for I've truly enjoyed the stories you've worked so hard to tell. Collective "you", of course.

Clever wording, estragon. ;) Thanks you! I'm not sure if I'm eligible or not in this one. I thought I'd have to wait until Valentine's Day, but guess depends on how time is calculated. I just wonder how you find the time in your busy schedule for all the reading and copy-editing you do!

PennLady, looking forward to reading your entry as always! I hope everyone's feeling better now.

Oh, I kid. :) I know, and thanks for the support.

Clever wording, estragon. ;) Thanks you! Just to note, I'm still ineligible to place in this contest. Valentine's is the next time I'll be eligible. I'm not sure if I'll have an entry ready to go for that one or not. Time (and winter germies) will tell. I just wonder how you find the time in your busy schedule for all the reading and copy-editing you do!

Luna, hope you're all feeling better, too. We seem okay except Mr. Penn now has the cold I had. Not sure if I'll have one for Valentine's either, but I won't worry about it right now. Too much going on as it is. But you never know when inspiration might strike.

Glad you're better. Hope Mr. Penn doesn't get his butt kicked too! Same here. Busy, busy, busy! I'd like to though. :)

"I just wonder how you find the time in your busy schedule for all the reading and copy-editing you do!"-LunaEroticaMystica, NT

Luna, the Devil makes work for idle hands, and there are few hands idler than mine.
Always glad to work with really fine writers; the credit is all theirs.

I hope everyone and family have recovered their health.

Thanks for the hype and the edits

Estragon,
I am not sure where I or my numbers would be without you...

Thanks for all you have done for me in the past and the present...it is greatly appreciated!!!

Silkstockingslover has another one, and it's in a genre where she has rarely gone before. She's taking her usual submissive-dominant approach, but with a difference.

I know some commentators have said she's written the same story twenty times, but that's a cheapo criticism. Agatha Christie wrote the same story sixty times, but the readers never stopped reading her stories, for all that. And I'm waiting to see what stories these critics have to tell. "La critique est aisée, mais l'art est dificile."

Calibeachgirl is back with "Semper Fi Ch 1". Needs editing, but great plot, believable characters and hot sex.

And SA Penn Lady has posted "Rhythm and the Blue Line Ch 4". Vintage SA Penn Lady. Her fans are already loving it.

Saw SA Penn Lady's latest, Ch 5 of Rhythm and the Blue Line. SA Penn Lady hasn't lost her touch, and her characters have found theirs. Good and sweet.

DG Hear, MFG, has a new story in the works, but it isn't a feel-good story--yet.

Justtoold's A Christmas Angel is a sweet feel-good. Not great writing, but a gentle, well-thought-out tale.

A True, Real-Life Love Story

Happy Birthday to Herself, the Girl of My Dreams. I wish you many many more happy years, my darling. God bless you!
