First story got published this week and it was painless (though the wait was nerve wrecking).:nana: A decent week made slightly better. :)

The morale of the week, for me: good things come to those who :sleep:

Most of you lot are wonderful, supportive people. The rest :) well, I guess I just don't know them enough to see the good in them yet.

And everything else a guy would need. The groceries and personal care department? A single guy simply doesn't need to go anywhere else, he can live comfortably buying everything for living life at Menards. Girlfriend? Not so much.

Today I learned that natural redheads are more susceptible to pain than anyone else, studies have shown. They need 20% more anaesthesia, in general, to reach the same level of comfort. Tons of research on this apparently, but I had missed it somehow. I feel like there's a BDSM story here somewhere. 💙

Not more susceptible to pain, as far as I know. Just less susceptible to anaesthesia. It's a thing for my wife.

(Even for myself, and my redhead genes are limited to a few red hairs in my beard that I inherited from my granddad. The anaesthetic ran out half way through my vasectomy, for example.)
