I need to watch Arrow! Has anyone watched Vikings? I've only heard about it in passing, I wasn't sure if it was worth it. It has Gustaf Skarsgård, though, so...

Edit: And apparently Gabriel Bryne! WTF? Now I think I have to watch it.

Vikings is amazing. I loved, loved the first season.

Oh, good. I'll look into it. I've been wondering when a show in that time period was going to come around.

I'm never going to be able to watch all of these shows, ugh.

makes a note of the show to add to their list of things to watch

There are way too many. I haven't even started Breaking Bad, I'm like two seasons behind on Mad Men, that new show True Detectives looks interesting, there are older shows like Carnivale and Deadwood that I've heard are really good, I'm a season behind on Shameless...

Maybe I just need to get sick for a week.

Deadwood is amazing.

Not sure about the availability in different places but the English language version of Wallander is really good as well if you want to add something else to your 'to watch' list.

It's already in my Netflix queue. Except I think there's like 18 versions of it. But I probably just tossed them all in there, cause what the hell? It's like the absurd number of books on my Kindle. I'll never get to them all, so why not toss them in there?

See, then you'd just spend it playing video games or watching new shows that aren't on your list. I know this, because it's exactly what I just did on my winter vacation.

And Carnivale + Deadwood are both good. I like Carnivale more. You should read up on the plot symbolism, etc. It's fucking great, I think you'd really like it. Same goes for Deadwood.

Apparently AHS S4 will be a circus? So that'll be interesting.

I'll have to look into that, too!

I was interested in watching Carnivale, but then not, because it got cancelled.
I'm not investing in a show that doesn't get to wrap things up.

It's all about the journey!

Besides, I've already been through enough of those shows to know how it is. Firefly before the movie, Wonderfalls...

I have enough games still waiting to be played, too.

Not that I just bought two more or anything...

What'd you get? I just finished the main plot in GTA V. Bioshock Infinite finally started now. I need to play Skyrim, I feel like I'm cheating on it or something. *bows head in shame*

Couldn't get into Bioshock Infinite, though i loved I and II.
You definitely should play Skyrim, but only if you are willing to let it eat your life.
And, more importantly, you should play The Last Of Us.
God, that game...just amazing.

Well, by play, I meant continue to play. It's already devoured my soul, I might as well give it my body.

I NEED TO PLAY THE LAST OF US. I don't have a PS, though. I need one. Why'd you have to rub it in!

That's nothing. I just started playing The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap for GameBoy Advance! Talk about being behind on things.

Aw, I love that game. I come back to it a lot on my emulator. Currently playing Pokemon Black on my DS emulator, it's kind of a problem.

You really should get a PS3. They are cheap now!
And for games like The Last Of Us, the Uncharted series, Metal Gear Solid 4, and Ratchet And Clank, it really is worth it.
Plus, blu-rays (if you don't have a blu-ray player)

I knowww. But then I think, why not get a PS4 and have done? Because otherwise some other game that I'm dying to play will come out and I'll be in the same damn position.

God, I hate video games.

I haven't even started Skyrim.

I finished the first Bioshock, and then played Burial at Sea on Infinite, which was amazing. They found a way to leave me open-mouthed with the ending of that one again, goddammit. And then I've been playing Clash in the Clouds the last few days, just because it's quick, and I missed being able to use Vigors and weapons so quickly after playing Bioshock 1.

Anyway!

Fight Night Champion was on sale, so I picked that up. I don't really watch boxing, like.. at all. But, it's something kind of mindless that I can pick up when I only have a little bit of time. Like Tiger Woods, too.

And I got Hitman Absolution, which I think was $5, and I've heard good things about.

Bioshock 2 is on sale for digital download for $5 also, so I may end up grabbing that too.

Oh! And Season 2 of The Walking Dead game.

I've heard the Walking Dead game is great. You'll like Bio 2, though it has a different feel and pace from the first.

It really is. It's a game that kind of sneaks up on you. Sort of like a video game version of a Choose Your Own Adventure book, but at the end of the first set of five episodes, you realize the emotional impact things are having that you didn't expect.

It's a cool way to do a video game. There's rumors they're going to do a Game of Thrones one, as well (another show I haven't even started yet).

Bleh, I'll give it a few more months and then weigh it again, just to see if PS4 is worth it. I'm backed up on games already, it's not like I need something to play.

And I like Ocarina of Time best. Twilight Princess was also an incredible game. I really am just faithful to that series.

And Ruffles, I thought you'd played Bio 2. I finished that one a couple of months ago. The Walking Dead game is great, but I cringe when other people play it by me. They make the wrong choices! I know, there are no "wrong" choices... but grrr.

By a 3DS and play A Link Between Worlds then!!!!

I actually still have my GameCube with the.. whatever the name of that disc was, that had the first Zelda, Link's Awakening, the SNES version (that I for some reason want to call Blast From the Past, but I know that's wildly incorrect), Ocarina of Time (still the greatest game, ever), and Majora's Mask. And I have Wind Waker for it, too.

But it's not even hooked up right now.

It's the first game series I can remember playing. I think it was Link's Awakening on GB colour.

I'd never played any Bioshock games before Infinite. But then when I saw Burial at Sea was in Rapture, I figured I'd better go back and play the first one before doing it. It was worth it, cause I knew who these characters were and all of that. And it was kind of cool to see people just out in Rapture, living like it was a functioning city.

It's been so long since I played the first series of Walking Dead that I don't even remember what choices I made. Though I wonder how they'll effect this new one, since I know who the main character is and all.
