I played Bioshock out of order too.

From a mechanics standpoint, 1 did feel like I was a bit handicapped compared to Infinite.

Yaaaay it's great you should have a go! (But yep ideally you would have done it first xP not as keen on the second but still good :D)

Aw. I'm sorry to hear that. Silent Hill gives me weird dreams. And I didn't like the underwater aspect of Bioshock 1 & 2.

Yeah I think that's what scares me. I keep dreaming I'm trapped in the toilet and there's dirty paper everywhere and I can hear splicers.

washes hands frantically

I know it's a weird thing to dream about, but it's like a weird type of claustrophobia, an underwater city.

That game did have an eerie factor to it that Infinite didn't, and I think most BS fans disagree with my, but I still liked the world of Infinite better.

Not strange at all. Makes perfect sense to me. I get really freaked out by the idea of deep water and submarines and eeeshdflasdfklsd.

Bleh.

That is an interesting fear. I wonder if you have read, or heard read, The Shadow Over Innsmouth by HP Lovecraft? I think there is at least one game based on it.

I've read almost everything he's ever written. Big fan.

<Cordially> Then we shall be friends. <Extends hand.>

Extraordinary, isn't it, the things that bring people together in the tiniest ways. On overhearing someone at a dinner table, the Rev Sydney Smith once said, "Madam, I have been looking for someone who disliked gravy all my life: let us be friends."

Ah well, it's a wide old world, and perhaps we're looking for company, since we know our life's journey has, in the end, only one destination.

shakes hands with a smile

That's a bleak prospect. I like to keep my destinations interesting and less... final.

I, however, enjoy gravy. And I could murder someone right now for a good cup of tea. But based on the fact I only had about three hours sleep, I think I'll skip eating anything.

Tea it is!

Yep. But what kind of tea?

sips Earl Grey with a retro-chic cup and saucer, pinky up and everything

Many!

I'm drinking a good chai and a vanilla black right now. I also like some greens now and then to mix things up, and may toss the occasional white in there.

All kinds! (Am quite partial to Earl Grey too. Made Earl Grey cupcakes last week. Nom) *slurps chamomile tea noisily out of a Doctor Who mug* (Can I get more British?)

A tea appreciation thread sounds great =D

Ooooh, SB, I love chai and vanilla. You're a man after my own heart.

I love peppermint tea, camomile, rhubarb is nice too. But I'm going to go ahead and pretend I didn't read the 'Doctor Who' bit.

giggles

I'm being such a productive girl today. Just finished shopping for wool, now home to watch some Game of Thrones and craft :) and then Xbox later. God I'm enjoying today :)

I can't believe I missed the tea party! Earl Grey for me too, please.

This was my last tea party - and this was the music.

Hey. The tea party is NEVER over. My kettle is NEVER not boiling ;D That table looks DELICIOUS.

So much CAPITALISATION.

prettyserpentine: hooray for craft! What are you making? I might get my knitting out when I watch the next episode of AHS, so I have an excuse to not look at it >_<

I cannot say how absurdly happy I am that a thread on an erotic site, most of which is taken up by increasingly outre sexual fantasies and rude men asking women what panties they are wearing, has been taken over by people having tea and talking about knitting.

This is happiness. Right now. You can take your butt-plugs and shove 'em up your arse for all I care - I'm having a scone.

Oh there's a lot of tea drinkers around here.

winks

Ooooh! We should have a tea party in the Lounge!

And to keep kinda on topic...

Any Good Wife fans around? Was more than a little shocked by the sudden exit of a main character! :(

Haha, that's exactly what I was thinking xD I feel so at home here, away from teh scary, kinky perverts. No, I like gaming, tea-drinking, crafting perverts. (I suppose knitting could be kinky)

I'm afraid I've only watched like one episode =[ My friend's a fan though, I've heard about . . . said exit and I was like NO WAY
