Okay, Walking Dead, I get why that was important. But how fucking circular can you get? Jeez.

I haven't watched it yet, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say that things are dark and hopeless.

Also! You need to watch Justified. I think you'd love it.

Pretty much, although I'm never going to complain about getting to watch Daryl sight that bow.

And I think I would, too! It's just I'm portioning out my Amazon Prime watching towards the end of the month so my lousy provider won't chase after me for data overage. Hopefully I'll get to that sometime soon, but The Good Wife craving is still pretty strong.

I just found this awesome blog run by the food stylist for Hannibal and I've been reading it, if anyone's interested. Spoilers, obviously, but it's hilarious what she gets up to trying to chase down stuff for the show. The food waste makes me cringe, though.

Watching Catching Fire and Philip Seymour Hoffman showing up hit me straight in the feels. Blah.

Walking Dead. If I didn't think it was a ratings hunt season before, I do now. Ugh.

I'm assuming you're in the States? I haven't seen the latest episode, it's on over here tonight, but I loved the last one with Daryl and Beth! Although I'm slightly afraid at some point he might kill and eat her...

Yep! And I was meh, on the last one, but I'm kind of a harsh critic. I will say that last night's episode could reinforce that fear you have, but that's all I'm going to say on the topic.

Eeep!

I'm watching 'Queen of the Damned' at the moment. It's rather mediocre.

Arrow is a tremendous show. Oliver Queen is very cooly written and the supporting cast is competent.

I would have to agree. We started watching purely out of boredom and have ended up really, really enjoying it.

We don't know any of the history/story other than what's been shown on TV but it works really well. It's got everything a good show should have.

Ok, so, I finally had time to watch the "Takiawase" episode of Hannibal. I'm so freaking mad. This show had been doing a decent job of being correct and now that's completely blown to hell. So disappointed.

Fuck.

I hate going on Facebook and seeing a spoiler from this week's episode of The Walking Dead when I haven't had a chance to see it yet.

It's like this day is just full of idiocy.

Y'all can talk about spoilers if you want. I'll just stay out of here until I watch it. It's up to you!

Nah, just as easy not to.

For my part - I think they did a great job of centralizing most of the characters and rebuilding them into something we could actually relate to again. At some point you have to stop with all the bananas losing their minds acting like illogical and stupid idiots plot lines and twists.

Don't get me wrong, we still saw plenty of adults make plenty of impossible to defend decisions.

Same problems face the series as a whole, though. The pacing since Season 2 is awful.

I hate the pacing and what I've seen of the season thus far doesn't do much to make me want to rush to catch up. Some people have really liked it, I'm just not one of them. Then again, it could be that there are other shows that I'm interested in more (Hannibal, The Following). Hannibal has probably been most successful for me this season, even if they did fuck up hugely on the last two. The Following just makes me irritated.

Mostly it's just the plot with Daryl and...

Nah, you know what? It's just the season. Just not great. We'll see when I catch up.

I've only watched the first episode of the second season of Hannibal, catching up with the rest on Friday and I am excited and nervous and mad and sad because this show gives me ALL THE FEELS.

Well, not in the UK yet D= (hopefully soon!)

Ooh I can't wait! I loved season one. I need something new to binge watch. I did The Wire recently, I prefer things a little more fantastic/horrific. My binge before that was Breaking Bad, and prior to that it was Grimm.

Ooh and the new Dracula with Jonathan Rhys Meyers.

Anyway. Suggestions?

Eeeeeeeeeh keep meaning to start The Wire! People also keep telling me to do American Horror Story and True Detective. Also need to catch up with Supernatural and Game of Thrones . . . need to finish Luther and Broadchurch too . . . but Hannibal is the priority at the moment *_*
