I just air fried some of those yesterday!

Also, a big factor in that is they’ve been selectively bred to taste much better than they did when we were younger

Why did they go tastier while tomatoes just got shittier? I don’t understand this world at all.

Valid point, I sure learned to like vegetables a lot more once I learned they generally weren’t supposed to be yellow!

I catered a motorcycle rally and the first night’s dinner was chicken, baked potatoes, and steamed green beans.

The number of adult men that came up and wanted to know what spices I’d put on the green beans was astounding. They’d never tasted any so good before, blah blah.

The answer: nothing. Not even salt. They’d just never had green beans that hadn’t been cooked so long that the flavor was boiled out of them.
