Five things...

The Doctor. Not the actors who play the doctor but the actual fucking Doctor.

Benedict Cumberbatch. He just seems like such a kind wonderful person

Marco Polo did some really awesome shit. I bet he's got great stories.

Lief Erickson. C'mon he's a Viking!

Allan Rickman. * cries *

Pass along.

Five people I'd travel with?

1. Dan Buettner - National Geographic guy who's discovered the happiest places on earth. I bet he has some awesome connections

2. Anderson Cooper - the stories!

3. Eddie Huang - the food!

4. Sarah Silverman - the badassery!

5. Javier Bardim - as we traveled through Spain on the off chance Penelope Cruz had the weekend off and you know, Javier had a yen to smooch a midwestern middle-aged chick.

Five things you'd change about yourself?

1. I'd like to be more thoughtful and considerate

2. I'd like to be more the essence of me ( who I was, who I feel like trapped in side) or more accepted to who I now am.

3. I'd like to be Healthy, wealthy and wise.

4. I would reach still mind and active body both, easily and with joy and great benefit.

5. Or I would change nothing and learn to accept me. Hmm, that's very itchy,

Pass question on,

1 I'd like to be just a few inches taller
2 I'd love to have a great singing voice
3 I'd like to be more confident among strangers
4 I'd like to have good eyesight
5 I'd like to be more trusting

Five decisions you would go back and change?

Sigh... revisiting the past this way is not the most helpful...
But here goes

1. I would not have dated that asshole Freshman year in college
2. I would have worried less about trying to make my dad happy. Turns out it wasn't possible.
3. I would have gotten a dog sooner. They have given me so much joy.
4. I would have gone to the ER sooner...not that it would have made much difference in the end~ but it was foolish to wait.
5. I wish I knew what I know now when I first registered here. A big fuck you to the assholes who took advantage of my naivete.

Five settings for perfect dates.

Moving out when I did. I should have stayed a little longer, it would have made my freshman year of college so much easier.

Selling my old truck. I loved that truck, I never should have sold it.

Letting an old friend live with us a while. It was a terrible idea that ruined the friendship.

Long term relationships with fuck head 1 and 2.

Having sex with that guy I met on a dating website. Hung out a while, went on a few dates, decided to sleep with him. It wasn't all that great then he kicked me to the curb. Called me back after three weeks to see if I wanted to "hang out" again. I told him where he could go
. I've never felt more like garbage in my entire life.

Pass on the question.

1. Not taking a job I was offered at Microsoft when I was 18.
2. Breaking up with my first love.
3. First marriage.
4. Not saying goodbye to my Dad before he died.
5. Had the opportunity to buy stock in Apple for $11/share back in early 80's but parents did not think it was worth buying the 500 shares I wanted to get.

I'm a drifter so it's hard to think of five things.

1) A long drawn-out event, which was the gradually increasing severity of my particular mental ailment over adolescence.
2) First job for a couple of reasons.
3) Like Necrosomatic but a with a bit more coverage; cutting ties with everyone from my past.
4) Opening a certain letter two years ago.
5)

Hmm.
I might come back if I think of a 5.

I am presuming you are passing the question on Consilience?

What if the next person is too far away and I have to throw it?

Hey! I think I'm a pretty good catcher!!

I have to say I like this question - it makes me so curious about people's moments and how we all got to where we are. Here on Lit.

Is it too much to ask you to reveal five moments you regret?

Yes. The list is too long to choose just five.

My pre baby jeans. I can lose the baby weight but I can't make my hips narrower.

My old magic the gathering cards. Most of them are completely worthless.

My parents old wedding album. My mom is remarried, my dad doesn't speak to me but for some reason I just can't.

My daughters old onsies she's too big for.

My high school year books. Worst 4 years of my life, just can't seem to part with them.

Pass on

Your kids may want to look at both the wedding album and the yearbook someday. It can spark great conversation. Keep them, if you can stand it. :rose:

1- Venice

It's kind of cool this is the place you posted first! Yay! :)

I checked out your links... are you a hotel manager? A real estate agent?

Name five bands / musical artists you love!!
