I think I can understand, my life was similar to what you described. I was molested as a child, and that caused some problems, but during the last 20 years of my 29 year marriage my husband had sex only once with me. ( I could give you the exact date and time!) He had little interest in sex, maybe also because of lack of endurance, or just lack of interest. Maybe I didn't appeal to him. I don't know but it hurt me and our marriage, because it robbed us of that closeness that a couple need. He's become an old bitter man, with no other interests other than his TV, and pick-up truck! Our marriage ended long before we actually separated. But for the longest time I thought there was something wrong with me, until I found a man that showed me love, respect, tenderness and made me feel beautiful. That's all I really needed, just to be treated as a loving and desirable woman. I blossomed like a flower.

I really liked your comments here. I guess we all believe that it will happen but sometimes we grow weary in waiting. I've been fortunate in my life and have had some wonderful relationships but about 5 1/5 years ago I met A lady who although no where near the kind of person I would have chosen managed to find her way into my heart- we had a trouble filled 3 1/2 years but a true love that was stonger than anything I had ever experienced. unfortunately at the end she ripped a whole in my heart that still has not healed and sometimes it is hard to still believe. Did like your encouraging words though.
