I used to be a regular flyer.

What I found is that the FAs in America were much older than they are in other countries. Not sure why.

Hanging on for their pensions and the companies cant dismiss them on the basis of weight or looks in the western world. Hence the hotties are moving abroad to Emirates and the likes to get a start. BA had a big overhall a couple of years ago and paid off a lot of the older girls as they brought in new contracts.

Interesting. Yes it appears that it’s a job for life for some.
