For Those Who Might Be Wondering Why We Might Be In Ukraine

Victims of the latest Russian military "victory". Yaroslav Bazylevych lost his entire family. Russians killed his wife, Yevheniya, and their three daughters, Yaryna, Daryna, and Emilia.

Putin needs to be dealt with the way we dealt with the Nazi war criminals at Nuremberg

One would have expected Russia to mount a counteroffensive to eject the ZSU from the 600sq miles they have gained control of in the Kursk region the past month, but so far we have not seen any serious such attempt. But so far, no dice. Whats up?

The Russian command was taken completely unawares and Russia is not great at improvising and reacting capably to fluid situations. The units hey brought in (russia) have not worked with each other before, they're largely meat and not well-trained in any sense of the word. The ZSU has been ranging out beyond the lines they have set, attacking, destroying and disrupting Russian units moving into Kursk, many of which have been poorly trained and poorly motivated conscript units the ZSU has been using as bait to sucker in the more experienced Russian units as they arrive. Add in that logistics are poor and artillery support is lacking and the ZSU is inflicting large numbers of casualties on the Russians without taking many of their own.

Chloe “Chicongo” Tzang was already educated about why Putin was content to let the Ukrainians play in their little Kursk sandbox. (and other things)

The Ulranians wanted them to pull back in the West and divert troops there. Instead, Putin has doubled efforts, essentially forfeiting Kursk. Putin obviously wants the Western region in control before committing to peace talks.

Let's hope they get their faster than the Bradley's, but I won't be holding my breath. I'll believe it when it actually happens. Until they show up it's just another case of Biden blowing smoke pretending to support Ukraine while stabbing Ukraine in the back.

Aren’t you late for a play date with Vladdy Pootie? You were going to brainstorm about how to pass more misinformation about Harris to the media.

And what have you done to personally help Ukrainian military units? Aside from blowing smoke out your ass on the web and sticking a little Ukrainian flag on your profile doesn't count. Below are snapshots of one month's worth of personal contributions to ZSU units from back in winter 2023 when a lot of units were screaming for winter kit and medical and evac equipment. With some fund-raising, I averaged donating about $1k of equipment a month for around a year and a half. Now, I still do a bit of fund raising and donate largely to drone campaigns and to any campaigns to raise funds for things like vehicles and excavators for preparing defensive positions for specific units.

What do you do other than blow smoke out your ass? Go jerk off somewhere else, dipshit. There's plenty of cuck stuff on Literotica I'm sure you'll enjoy.

The artillery kills have really dropped off. Guess Russia really is running out of guns......a lot of photos now of old WWW2-vintage artillery being shipped out. The barrel is being scraped for guns and tanks. And there's still no signs of any real artillery presence around Kursk. Artillert shelling by the Russians has also apparently dropped off and no progress being made towards Pokrovsk

This week, Portugal delivered the last Ka-32 helicopter of the six it committed to provide to Ukraine in October 2022. Portugal's Defence Ministry stated that the sixth Ka-32 helicopter left for Ukraine on Friday, 6 September. Back in October 2022, Helena Carreiras, former Portuguese Defence Minister, announced the transfer of six helicopters to Kyiv. They were purchased by the Portuguese Interior Ministry in 2006. Carreiras explained that following the introduction of sanctions against Russia, the country could no longer operate the Russian-made Ka-32s, and moreover, one of them had broken down in an accident.

However, as of November 2023, the helicopters remained in Portugal. Lisbon stated at the time that they were awaiting "instructions from the Ukrainian side on the next steps to be taken" for the transfer process. Took them forever, but the last one had now left for Ukraine.....it's a naval helicopter and transport.

Ukraine is building weapons underground to supply the military with arms in the event of delays in military aid from abroad, President Volodymyr Zelensky said at the Ambrosetti International Economic Forum in Italy on Sept. 7. "We are building underground facilities for the production of weapons so that Ukrainian soldiers can defend themselves even when supplies from our partners are delayed."

Makes sense - Ukraine really needs to be able to supply themselves given the unreliability and slow-walking of aid from The Biden Administration and from Scholz in particular. Ammo especially. And Ukraine has a lot of old underground facilities from the Soviet Cold War days that can be repurposed and were designed to survive nukes. On top of that they are building entire new underground facilities - underground hospitals and schools in particular.

"Misinformation operations in the United States will grow in frequency and intensity as we get closer to the election - and they may not be limited to Russian narratives. Iran is currently undertaking a misinfo campaign aimed at harming the GOP and recently the far-left pro-Hamas publication “The Grayzone” was found to have previously received funding from the Iranian government.

As Americans, we should recognize that the greatest threat to our country isn’t the military of an adversary, but instead the manipulation of our democracy by bad actors that agitate different elements of the political fringe. Our elections are not open season for America’s enemies - we need to secure our voting systems and do everything we can to track and fight misinformation online."

This includes the Russians, Iranians, Chinese, and of course George Soros and funding from other extreme leftists across the board. These misinformation operations come from across the geopolitical spectrum and they are all targeting US voters. It's important that everyone understands this, especially now that the DOJ and FBI have gone blatantly Stazi and are nothing but political stormtroopers of the Democratic Party doing exactly the same thing themselves, forfeiting any expectation that they be treated as anything other than what they are - biased and blatantly political police.

Outgunned and outnumbered, Ukraine’s military is struggling with low morale and desertion

Two and half years of Russia’s grinding offensive have decimated many Ukrainian units. Reinforcements are few and far between, leaving some soldiers exhausted and demoralized. The situation is particularly dire among infantry units near Pokrovsk and elsewhere on the eastern front line, where Ukraine is struggling to stop Russia’s creeping advances.

CNN spoke to six commanders and officers who are or were until recently fighting or supervising units in the area. All six said desertion and insubordination are becoming a widespread problem, especially among newly recruited soldiers.

Four of the six, including Dima, have asked for their names to be changed or withheld due to the sensitive nature of the topic and because they are not authorized to speak to the media.

“Not all mobilized soldiers are leaving their positions, but the majority are. When new guys come here, they see how difficult it is. They see a lot of enemy drones, artillery and mortars,” one unit commander currently fighting in Pokrovsk told CNN. He also asked to remain anonymous.

“They go to the positions once and if they survive, they never return. They either leave their positions, refuse to go into battle, or try to find a way to leave the army,” he added.

This is a long article and one needs to read it in its entirety to appreciate what is being reported . This is a rare peek into the real situation in Ukraine for those in the West who do not have extensive sources in Europe. This is CNN trying to claw back some of its integrity before the coming surrender takes place.

It was Zelensky who said the purpose of the Kursk invasion was to force Russia to redeploy forces from the Eastern Front to Kursk, but it was Zelensky's folly to have moved his best brigades from the Eastern Front to attack Kursk in the first place. The Idea was that Kursk was something he could use to negotiate the retreat of Russians from Ukrainian territory in the East at a future date. The Russians obviously didn't bite and left their forces on that front to take advantage of the weakened defensive posture Zelensky's move to the North provided so that now they are rolling up retreating Ukrainian forces in the East and are on the cusp of seizing the important logistical hub at Pokrovsk. A total logistics disaster for Ukraine in that region.

The answer is yes. Have you heard of Christiane Amanpour? She works for CNN and just interviewed General Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine’s Armed Forces. You can find the same information in her interview with him. Read the entire interview here and keep proving yourself to be the complete uninformed partisan "useful idiot:"

(CNN) — On Thursday 5 September, CNN’s Christiane Amanpour spoke with General Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, in his first television interview in that role. It was conducted near the frontlines, at an undisclosed location for security reasons. What follows is a transcript of their full interview, lightly edited for clarity.

The answer is no. Else you'd link the original article.

Fucking idiot

You don't care where your information comes from.

Putin thanks you

Which country invaded the other?
That doesn't matter to the subject at hand. We're only talking about a strategic fuck up by Zelensky that could bring this war to and end as Ukraine cannot afford to lose Pokrovsk and maintain it's line of supply for much of their Eastern Front operations. If it were to fall to the Russians it will be big deal added to the other problems Zelensky has, namely manpower.

It always matters regarding the Russian invasion of Ukraine

You're talking about Russian propaganda.

Ukraine can continue to defend itself as long as it wants to

The Russians threw in conscripts, they pulled in units from Kharkiv and they'd brought in units from Kherson and the Donbas. The Russians were weakened enough in Kharkov that the ZSU conducted an effective counterattack in this area and kicked the Russians away from Lyptsi. ZSU troops were busy collecting the loot for two days afterwards. Earlier this week, a counterattack by the ZSU's 53rd Brigade recovered most of northern Niu York. The Russians, promptly, counterattacked into the flanks, suffered heavy losses and where thrown back, and then, two days ago, the II/53rd recovered the center and the southern side of Niu York. (Donbas).

The ZSU brought in the 12th NG Azov and the 15th NG Kara-Dag Brigades to reinforce the defence of Pokrovsk and these units seem to have been enough to halt the Russian advances. If nothing else, a steady stream of drone footage suggests that Russian supply lines are getting hit harder and harder as they extend west. Moscow’s actions here are well-founded in a purely operational sense, provided their goal is to make progress at any cost. Pokrovsk is at the outer edge of Ukraine’s logistics network, the most vulnerable part of the whole front. But losing it - not that this looks at all likely any time soon - wouldn’t break Ukraine’s defense in Donbas. So Moscow’s focus on it looks mainly opportunistic, and probably represents a strategic error. We'll see.

Ukraine has quite a few reserve brigades after all - the offensive units they committed to Kursk were NOT a stretch, at all, and they are being rotated out, being replaced by other brigades intended to hold the new and shortened frontlines.

Ukraine Has Invented Its Own Precision Glide Bomb. It Could Become A Key Weapon For Strikes On Targets In Russia. The bomb seems to have a rocket booster and pop-out wings, potentially giving it a 40-mile range. Not content to lob American-made JDAM-ER and French-made Hammer glide bombs, the Ukrainians clearly intend to arm their jets with locally made bombs, as well. Air force brigadier general Serhii Holubotsov announced back in June that the service was developing a new glide and guidance kit to transform Soviet-vintage unguided bombs into precision munitions. With its wings and tail-mounted rocket booster, the presumably GPS-guided bomb looks a lot like a Hammer. It’s possible the Ukrainians actually copied the French weapon. A quick boost from a solid-fueled rocket is how a 550-pound Hammer ranges as far as 40 miles.

The Ukrainian air force obviously is happy with the Hammer’s range and precision; it’s obviously unhappy with the supply of the bomb. France pledged to provide just 50 Hammers a month—far too few to match the roughly 3,000 KABs the Russians drop all along the 700-mile front line every month, even after taking into account the JDAM-ERs Ukraine gets from the United States. If Ukraine can establish local production of the new bomb, it might begin to catch up to Russia’s own glide-bombing campaign. The new bomb would join a growing portfolio of made-in-Ukraine munitions that includes the Neptune cruise missile, the new Palianytsia “missile drone” and a host of one-way attack drones—including at least two models of pilotless sport plane that can fly a thousand miles with an explosive payload.

In building its own precision munitions, Ukraine frees itself from total reliance on fickle allies for key military capabilities. Local production is also a way for Ukraine to circumvent its allies’ restrictions on how and where Ukrainian forces can use foreign-made munitions. And the Ukrainians do have large stockpiles of the old Soviet-era munitions. The limit is more likely going to be the number of sorties the Ukrainian Air Force cam fly.
