For Those Who Might Be Wondering Why We Might Be In Ukraine

Lol

Lol...the narcissism is fun to watch....along with the ascription.
Narcissism is your middle name, but it is ignorance and your consistent ability to be wrong that you choose to showcase to readers on a daily basis. You lack the background and knowledge to debate so you attack the messenger, with what can only be described as a unique intellectual flaccidity.

Yes, your god complex is real and laughable.

Yes, your god complex is real and laughable.
Your lack of subject knowledge is laughable. For all practical purposes, the war in Ukraine is over. They are running out of men who can fight. The average age of the Ukrainian soldier is 43, that fact is the beginning of the end of this story.

Youve said this since it started and yet it's still going.

Russian stooge

Might as well start right there. 31 members of NATO all with different national interests will be like herding cats. NATO is not united as we speak. None of them want a ground war in Europe. This is how united Europe is on Ukraine at present.

EU Foreign Policy Summit Sees Demands to Limit Ukraine Involvement

The European Council continues to struggle over a unified foreign policy.
As a sure sign of shifting rhetoric among European leaders on the migration issue, Viktor Orbán linked the issue of mass migration to spiralling crime rates in an interview shortly before the summit. The Hungarian prime minister’s non-confrontational approach to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine was helped by the presence of the new Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico, who was elected on a NATO-critical platform earlier this month.

The emergence of a pro-peace bloc at the Council poses serious questions about the EU’s continued resolve to fund the Ukrainian war effort, with Council President Charles Michel keen to gloss over growing factionalism in the EU’s foreign policy.

Both Hungary and Slovakia are opposing new funds for Ukraine as part of the EU budget, with the newly installed Slovakian government, itself a NATO member, announcing the cessation of arms supplies to Kyiv motivated by the impact of the war on its domestic economy, which is heavily exposed to Russian sanctions.

In his remarks at the summit, Fico emphasised that additional armaments to Ukraine were both futile and a hard sell to his electorate at home, as he warned that EU money was already being wasted due to corruption in Kyiv.

I don't think a ground war in Europe is particularly likely. We already know that Russia cannot keep up with the munitions and equipment they've used against Ukraine. On the off chance NATO jumps in that's just game. Worst case scenario Iran, Korea and China sign up maybe even Pakistan but then India is likely to jump in the line.

The rest of that we'll have to wait and see what happens. I can't imagine the EU not continuing to fund this since they should be well aware that they are next in line. My money is on Bellarus but Poland isn't off the table. Given what we think we know about Putin's health those would fall to whomever follows him but this is an old game and anybody who has read even basic history know how this plays out.

We don't need to appease him. I've done enough reading to believe appeasing Hitler was probably a good call. He was the only one in a good position to go to war and everybody else needed time to gear up. We aren't in that position now.

Show me. I might have predicted the end of the war in week one, but I doubt I predicted the war would only last one week.
Do you even see the contradiction in this sentence?

I'm right about most of everything.
The real world data says otherwise.

I was right about the fairytale of "Russian collusion" you literally worshipped at the feet of for years. The Mueller Investigation, Crossfire Hurricane, the FISA abuses, FBI corruption, that both impeachments would fail to bring down Trump. It goes on and on.
You are mostly not but correct that the impeachments failed to bring down trump. But only because senate Republicans abandoned their sworn oaths to the constitution.

If that is the case how come Ukraine can't penetrate those lines of Russian defense?

Russia had six months to build up defences, lay mine fields and unfortunately they ( Ukraine) doesn't have the required air power (yet) needed to protect a "fast attack".

Why don't you answer why Russia, after 624 days of war is no further towards it's announced goals? hmmm

Note: by every measurable Ukraine has broken through the first layer of three, that Russia built up.

There is the fact that China and North Korea seem to be selling them weapons.
Putin's three day "special military operation" burned through Russia's weapons and equipment stockpile, and sanction make it very difficult for Russia to rearm itself. But you already know this!!

I'm not even sure what you're getting at.

I swear upon the eleven frozen hells that the moment someone figures out a sarcasm font we'll reach a new level of understanding each other. Like I hate that in real life there is a very real difference between. "Shut the fuck up." and "No more words." One we're still on good terms and one you want to think very carefully about how we proceed cus I've put my cards on the table.

It is difficult sometimes to get the point out a post meant to be sarcastic.

Consider this about a Marine artillery battalion supporting special operations in Syria:

“In five months they fired 35,000 artillery rounds on ISIS targets, killing ISIS fighters by the dozens,” Troxell told Marine Corps Times during a roundtable discussion Jan. 23. “We needed them to put pressure on ISIS and we needed them to kill ISIS.”

To put the numbers in context: During all of Operation Desert Storm, both the Marines and the Army fired a little more than 60,000 artillery rounds.

In the invasion of Iraq, just over 34,000 rounds were fired.

Now consider this:

Russia is firing a staggering 20,000 artillery rounds per day, a senior U.S. defense official estimated, while Ukraine is firing from 4,000 to 7,000 rounds daily.

Ordinary people have no idea at all of what kind of hell is happening along those Russian defensive lines and how it is chewing up the flower of Ukrainian youth and the future they would have contributed to Ukraine which now is all but a husk of its former self. A lot of this is our fault.

Yes but prior to the war in Ukraine it was 80%....even Putin's propaganda can't overcome hundreds of thousands of body bags coming home....
Look at Russian history. We have to admit the Russians have a warrior culture with a tolerance for death much higher than any country in the West. Joe Biden hasn't lost a sole in the war in Ukraine that we know of but he'd kill to have Putin's declining numbers.

I think Putin has reached his goals, aside from seizing Kharkiv and Odesa. He never wanted to govern all of Ukraine. He only wanted to retake those Russian-speaking provinces to protect the Russian people living there and a settlement for a neutral Ukraine. Maybe you could list his "announced goals" with sources.

You're an ordinary person.

You're an idiot . He's never once said this.

LOL no it's Trump who would love to have Putin's numbers. But then again, Trump would like to have Putin's absolute authority as well....

But you're correct the US hasn't lost an indenture member of the military, yet the US has now a wealth of information on how the NATO weapon systems work and how shitty the Russian equipment is. The whole Western world now knows Russia only has a Potemkin military.

If Putin had only been interested in the Russia speaking areas of Ukraine he never would have invaded Ukraine from Belarus, aiming for the capital of Ukraine. How fucking stupid do you have to be to buy into Putin's propaganda....
