Zelenskyy Says Summer Counteroffensive Did Not Achieve Its Aims

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy characterized the Ukrainian military’s summer counteroffensive against Russia as a disappointment, failing to achieve its expansive goal of pushing Russian forces back to pre-2014 lines, in an interview with The Associated Press on Thursday.

Ukraine’s forces have made incremental advances against Russian lines and crippled Moscow’s Black Sea naval fleet, Zelenskyy said, but did not achieve major routs similar to those claimed in a previous counteroffensive. Zelenskyy told the AP that Ukraine lacked both the manpower and the weapons from allies it needed to make a quick advance and push back Russian troops.

“We wanted faster results. From that perspective, unfortunately, we did not achieve the desired results. And this is a fact,” he said.

More proof that Ukraine is short of military-aged men and unable to continue withy any kind of hope for victory.

But we've known since March that Zelensky's counteroffensive had failed and we know why as well. I have said all along that combined arms warfare cannot be learned in months or even a year. It takes years to perfect the technique. Yet the "western training" of Ukrainian troops that took place over months instead of years was Combined Arms training, The training Ukraine was unable to employ and eventually abandoned in the field against Russian defenses only to revert to their WW1 tactics that has destroyed untold thousands of their fighting force. I think I already posted this source quoting the NYTs and CBNC, but you can read about it here:

Oh negotiation (you mean bend over and take it- I see how that is your style), like Obama already said didn’t work the first time. (That why your boy keeps confusing Barak and Joe??)

But just like you and the rest of the MAGA bullies, all routing for the totalitarian Putin to get all he wants regardless of what democracies have to be trampled. Your group didn’t worry about trampling on the democratic election results from 2020 as your brains are so small you can’t seem to EVER find 2020 voter fraud aside from those on the right. (Oh there was that mayor race..that one race…compare to the countless folks who were dead who voted…)
You don't know what you're talking about

The West Pushed Ukraine To War And Kiev Now Is Paying The Butcher’s Bill

This is a follow up to my previous piece describing how the United States and NATO sabotaged the peace talks between Russia and Ukraine in March 2022. Within the last week we have two members of Ukraine’s negotiating team confirm the information that was published two weeks ago by Hajo Funke and Harald Kujat, Harald Kujat is not just some guy with an opinion. He was the head of Germany’s military. The two members of the Ukrainian team — Oleksiy Arestovich (Zelensky’s former righthand man) and David Arakhamia (a Zelensky look alike who is a member of the Rada).

Vladimir Putin was the first person to publicly describe what happened with the negotiations when he met with an African delegation in July 2023. Putin told the African leaders:

The rest here. 1174 and other of our misinformed should read it:

Just sayin'.

It’s on a par with something one might find posted on "Truth (Pravda)" Social.

Side note - just for RussiaGuide:

Ukrainian operatives just blew up TWO trains, one in a key tunnel, and another on a key bridge, in EASTERN RUSSIA.

He just likes the author because it's the only thing he writes about....just like RG, he's been preaching that Russia won this war before the war even started.

You don't know what you're talking about
Ohhhhh… my knowledge comes from legit news….

Yours come from biased stories that are questionable at best as to their journalistic credentials.

But, please do explain oh sophomore of the boards… I need a Friday night laugh after midday was great with another one biting the dust.

You read propaganda and think it's news.

You read propaganda and think it's news.
So your wrong wing, openly biased slop is the legit stuff?

I don’t usually see anonymous authors for legit news bylines, but have had some just this week with yours.

Aren’t you the voter ID guy? Your “journalists” can’t even ID themselves.

Thanks for the laugh. Was a long day today and needed that one.

This is one of the relatively rare times when America is the good guy. Russia is our enemy but they don't have to be and we should be striving to fix that but we cannot let this pass without doing everything we can to prevent it.

The worst thing that could happen would be for America to win its proxy war in Ukraine.

That would only embolden the idiots who are pretending Russia is our enemy and provoking WW3 for no reason.

I hate to be the one to poke a hole in the propaganda bubble most of you inhabit, but America isn’t the good guy in this one.
That makes absolutely zero sense. Good job.

The worst thing that could happen is for us to put a NATO base in Ukraine and create a Russian perception of an existential threat on their doorstep. Which could very well lead to a nuclear war that would destroy Ukraine as an independent state and much of Europe. Check this out:

Putin orders the Russian military to add 170,000 troops for a total of 1.32 million

Updated 12:26 PM PST, December 1, 2023
MOSCOW (AP) — Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday ordered the country’s military to increase the number of troops by nearly 170,000 to a total of 1.32 million, as Moscow’s military action in Ukraine continues into its 22nd month.

Putin’s decree was released by the Kremlin on Friday and took force immediately. It brings the overall number of Russian military personnel to about 2.2 million, including 1.32 million troops.

It is the second such expansion of the army since 2018. The previous boost by 137,000 troops, ordered by Putin in August 2022, put the military’s numbers at about 2 million personnel and about 1.15 million troops.

The Defense Ministry said the order doesn’t imply any “significant expansion of conscription,” saying in a statement that the increase would happen gradually by recruiting more volunteers. The ministry cited what it called “the special military operation” in Ukraine and the expansion of NATO as the reasons for beefing up the army.

Does this look like the Russians are ready to surrender, leave Ukraine, and go home? Unless Ukraine can go into foreign countries and force their men to come home there's no way Zelensky can call up anywhere near that number of fighting-age men. Attrition is the messenger of doom on the battlefield.

There are no more Russian military volunteers and they’re probably running out of prisoners to send to war. They’ll be renting North Korean soldiers soon.

NATO’S Chief Jens Stoltenberg on the Ukrainian War: ‘We Should Be Prepared for Bad News’

By Paul Serran Dec. 3, 2023 6:30 pm

Since the end of the much-hyped but ultimately failed Ukrainian counteroffensive, the MSM began the process of recalibrating the expectations of the western audiences.

The summer campaign, for which Western partners assembled an impressive – if mismatched – weapons and munitions arsenal, ended in minimal territorial gains, and as winter comes, Russian forces have retaken the initiative, and are making advances all over the long frontline.

So, everywhere, now, there is talk about Russia wining.

Even NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg, in the middle of one of his interviews filled with wishful-thinking, warned that all should be ‘ready for bad news from the Ukrainian front’ as Kiev continues to defend against Russia’s all-out invasion.

More here on the impending doom about to visit Ukraine: https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2023/12/natos-stoltenberg-about-ukrainian-war-we-should-be/

Of course he's full of shit, right 1174?

No, he advised that, "We Should Be Prepared for Bad News", based on real-time offensive Russian actions that are now taking place.

He was interviewed. He did not predict anything. All he did was temper expectations.
