For Those Who Might Be Wondering Why We Might Be In Ukraine

He's barely a leftist and his country is a fraction of the size of Disney World FFS.
He is an anti-capitalist liberation movement type Marxist in the minds of many.

No matter its size he leads a small country and he entertains political views.

How many do you think we'd lose against a peer adversary? How many Ukrainian aircraft are still flying? We don't know because we only hear about Russian losses.
Russia has lost at least two A-50s.

That's a lot of A-50s compared to how many they have.

But yes, let's focus on Ukranians aircraft.... Please tell me more.

So how many does the Russian air force have?

They are the rough equivalent of our RC-135V/W Rivet Joint aircraft of which we have 17 but they are spread out over the world in high demand by regional field commanders and allies. A single loss of one would be a big blow to us as well. Here'a what I found on the A50:

As of February 2024, the Russian Air Force is believed to have eight operational A-50 aircraft. These airborne early warning and control (AEW&C) planes play a crucial role in surveillance and monitoring. The A-50, also known by its NATO reporting name “Mainstay,” is based on the Ilyushin Il-76 transport plane. It was developed to replace the Tupolev Tu-126 “Moss” and first flew in 1978. Approximately 40 A-50s were produced by 1992. 123.

So it is clear they have suffered a major loss. The question is does it matter at this point as far as the outcome of the war is concerned? I will note the Russians have not flown their A50 over the Sea of Azov since the last downing.

I thought you were wanting to talk about Ukranian losses

There's no reporting on them in our media. If you want to know more you have to go to independent sources, European sources. Outlets like The Telegraph aren't bad but they have nothing on Ukrainian losses or casualty figures either. Ukraine does not publish their losses. There is a substantial blackout on that news in the West. Independent reporters in the field or on platforms like Substack are best.

So you have nothing on the topic to offer except your whining.

Got it

It's you who consistently have nothing to offer.
And yet I consistently provide opinion, differing and interesting perspectives, information on topics rather than personal bias, objective polling, podcasts from multiple ideologies and expert analysis - many of which disagree with me on the topics discussed.

You post about BDS and hatred of the left and specifically women in multiple, almost identical threads that offer nothing unique from each other.

What I do post is true. You on the other hand are different.

President Biden is sending an additional $300 million in weapons to Ukraine.
Another $300 million of federal taxes down the black hole, not to mention the deaths of more Ukrainians. Yet the Democrats wonder why Biden is unpopular.
