From Pending to Approval

The time differences are from two simple facts: 1) one human being does the work every night and she doesn't do the same number of stories every night and B) the number of submissions added to list fluctuates daily as people submit more or less.

So who is reading the stories before they are approved? I have one currently pending that has been viewed 9 times.
