Of the spin ... for both you and her. You haven't said how often you make contact with one another, but i'll throw this out there anyway. Think along the lines of missed meeting times based on your r/l constraints. Something comes up and you two can't get together. Now string a few of those missed meetings together. Getting the idea?

Anyway, I'm looking for something we can share with some level of consistency. A ritual: Short, sweet and to the point that we can count on occurring regularly.

Is this ritual something you two have to share through contact, or just something she's supposed to do on a regular basis without contact from you based on a tasking?
