Gianna's Visions

Phalaenopsis Newberry Parfait 'Picotee' This is a nice orchid to own, it wants to bloom all the time. Get two or three of these plants and you will always have flowers.

Phalaenopsis Kuntrarti Rarashati ' Mini-quest' Can you say that? I can't. This plant is interesting in that it was hard to get the true color with my digital.....laughing.... maybe this is the true color and the camera picks up a spectrum not seen by the human eye... I took a lot of photos with and without flash...not a one captured the true color as seen by my eye. The color is actually a deeper purple than is seen here.

I grow them as house plants indoors in a southeast location in one window and an eastern window in another spot.... The Phals can actually be grown under grow lights. I have not counted my plants in years. I am not certain of their number.:rose:

Epidendrum Hokulea I spent hours editing this photo clearing the back ground. This is another one of those orchids whose true color is difficult to capture.....this by accident....I had it slightly overexposed when I adjusted the lighting behold! I had the actual color of the flower.

You'll sleep when you're dead. Delerium settles in right before genius does.

Laughing.....Oh gawd....I have it all wrong and here I am trying for clarity and I must give into the irrational process of the subconscious. Hmmm interesting...I have some dreams...maybe...

Elkshorn Fern This photo was taken outside of my parents house, there was a lot of back ground clutter, mulch and a coontie plant that was intruding....it took some time but I managed to edit them out.... Tools used were spraybrush, paintbrush and fill. Blunders were repaired, I got a little carried away with the spraybrush and had to repair......no problem..the amazing computer allows one to pick up color from the photo and apply it, making blending into the picture as if nothing ever happened...... certain areas were darkened to provide a nicer contrast. I usually try not to touch the subject matter too much...but I am happy with how this one turned out.

Blasting billowing bursting forth
with the power of ten billion butterfly sneezes
Man with his flaming pyre has conquered the wayward breezes
climbing to tranquility far above the clouds
Conceiving the heavens clear of the mystery shroud......
The MoodyBlues

As a teenager I was very fond of reading sciencefiction and the tv was full of campy sci fi thrillers, I used to play music and do pencil drawings of topics like this acrylic...
