The real point is, nothing will eliminate congestion there, and certainly not some piddling tax. Eliminating 90% of the people who drive there would clear congestion. Maybe next time, we can have a Real Pandemic.


It took my poor EZ-Pass transponder a couple of days to recover from the toll beating it got there last time.

The only thing that reduces traffic congestion is getting cars off the road. If you make it more expensive to drive, people will choose cheaper alternatives like biking or walking.

Let us rephrase that as, "ending vote buyout schemes for every single class of voter," because that is how you, we, I, should look at each citizen/voter as Justice does, blindfolded.
