girls with tattoos... how much is too much?

I got my first tattoo of the summer... but it's probably not my last.

again, I'm not posting pics of ME, but I can share the picture I got the idea from

this is the gallifreyan phrase I got on top of my right foot. I got it because of how it LOOKED, not what it says... so if you know, and it's something embarrassing, don't tell me.

It's not embarrassing, but a quick Google search shows that it means "bow ties are cool."

you have to consider your career, if you're in a work environment that will allow you to express/show your tattoos without the need of coverage then there are no limits or the opposite where they're simply just not favorable and you really have to find ways where to place them or how to hide them without having to wear long sleeves and turtle necks forever, that's one of the main restrictions for me.

what is too much?

I try to keep my tattoo placement feminine, I don't want to hide my body in them, I also look at line weights, I don't like thick line border tattoos on women and it depends on the overall look and design and if you feel you need to hide the tattoo (think of formal events, etc.) then its probably not the tattoo for you (on the upside, tattoo's can be adjusted in color and size so there is still hope to get the tattoo you've been wanting) you shouldn't have to hide the tattoo, every piece should mean something to you and you shouldn't be embarrassed expressing that, even in your long gown or cocktail dress. It's really about your style and attitude and how you feel, you know your limits, you know what you want to look and feel like.

to me too much are chest pieces, I can see one or 2 tattoos on the neck (small pieces,behind the ear) shoulders, full back, thigh, ankle, forearms, rib cage, hips, under the bust but chest pieces on women I think it's very tacky and is just too much for me.

Tattoos are something that I personally would not get for myself, and to be honest I have seen very few women who I think pull them off well where they add to the beauty and not distract or take away.

Having said that, there is a local fast-food joint that has a stunning young lady (I would assume early 20s) who has striking white hair streaks, who wears one long sleeve under her short-sleeve work shirt. I know it is to hide the tattoos, and for some reason that just intrigues me to see what they are under that sleeve.

To me, less is more. A simple shoulder tattoo to me can look incredibly sexy, and some women can completely rock a whole back tattoo (though not many). While the infamous tramp stamp is an instant turn-off.

I kind of like all the tattoos I have around my business... the pubic tattoo and the bows on the back of my thighs.... so I'm thinking I'm not going to do anything in that area.

a friend suggested that I do a small, easy-to miss script on the inside of my wrist. I could have it in ornate calligraphy, so you can't really read it unless i want you to, and I can wear a bracelet or watch if I want to hide it.... but it also means that when I shake someone's hand that I'm interested in, I can do it in a way that shows my tattoo.

so now I need to come up with the script. does anyone here know anyone who could come up with an orante calligraphy script of the word "slut"?
