I anxiously await zip's next flippant interjection! I am beginning to suspect that he ranks clever over science and fact because he’s such a big Liberal. They never mind using science as a tool for social experimentation and political gain. The best part is, they’re never wrong.

The reality of Global Warming Theory is that there is a lot still not proven by science. There are many indicators that do support it however. Even giving the anti-global warming crowd the benefit of the doubt that Greenhouse gases aren't the sole or even main cause of global warming, it still makes total sense to cut down on these emmissions as they are not good for the environment.

You seem all too ready to immediately discount it while embracing most corporate sponsored (big oil) research which is highly suspect as often they are basically paying scientists to support the position they want. Whores for hire so to speak.

Lastly, i never supported the Kyoto treaty. But the Bush administration has been more heavily criticized for using poor science to support their positions than any other administration.
