Yeah I thought it might go over well.

hehehe. You should totally do it!! I am gonna go as either a pin up or as a gothic version of Mary Poppins.

That would be so cool... But then again, I rather like the computer game American McGee's Alice... and think a Goth Alice would be rad.

'Scuse me while I get my Kraftwerk and Triumverate on vinyl out again...

i've always walked the fine line between "rocker girl" and goth. i definetely favor the goth style of dress more than slutty rocker girl clothes, but hair and makeup have always been a bit more "bright" than traditional goth-ness.

My one claim to goth is that i have seen the Sisters Of Mercy live twice when i was living in Philly. (Lord, i LOVE them...)

I've called myself "glitter goth" for a few years now. I'm just too bright and bubbly to really pull off the goth thing.

a goth Alice in Wonderland would be a good idea. Especially if we could get Jim to be the Mad Hatter, and some other folks to be other characters....

*ponders idea*

ok this makes the idea of being AMc's Alice even sweeter.... i'm gonna have to do some research on this.

Ooooh you have great bone structure.

I know what you mean. I'm tempted to post a photo with a disclaimer something like "this is what an ex-goth girl looks like all grown up and work force appropriate."

Yes, after a "x" number of years after our Goth days I tend to agree...

And thank you. :rose:

So, I'm sitting here, reading the goth girl thing, looking at pictures, and listening to Reba McEntire. Contradictory at all? NOT ME! hehe

Just thought I'd share my giggle.

Cure, Depeche, Ministry...all acceptable musical accompaniment...red headed country pixie-elves..completely unacceptable! :D

Well, it occurred to me that AC/DC or Metallica or . . . Queen would probably work better for looking at goth, but I don't wanna listen to them tonight. I wanna listen to Reba. So I'm gonna look at these pictures, listen to Reba and laugh at myself.

i like the red headed country pixie-elf. just saying.

So do I. LOL Truthfully she's my favorite singer - I love her voice. My favorite group, though, is Heart. My favorite song is by Bonnie Tyler. I've got very eclectic tastes in music.
